3d is a step backwards. so far every TV demo i have seen is attrocious and at the same time marketed as awesome. and of course the world believes anything they hear on TV or read. as soon as the speed of the onscreen action speeds up the 3D stops working and the object becomes less than solid.

what do you expect when you mix adults with children on forums.
being a portable one player device they can do away with the glasses and reduce the required viewing angle. the 3D will be just as good as glasses. it is actually the only limitation. there are 3D commercial monitors on the market that work the exact same way, but with eye tracking. this of course would double the price of the 3DS and not really required.

i am not seeing the flood of reports about over heating. i have seen one. what is wrong with people
skate has dropped the ball a bit lately. the game is unfinished and buggy as hell. it will pretty much crash on me everytime i play it. don't even get me started on the lack of party play or even the boring online multiplayer with no objects around. having put 100's of hours into skate 1 and 2 i feel this one is just terribly frustrating.

GoW3 looks like a blast. played killzone2 at a mates and it was pretty good but not anything i dont mind going without. pass on uncharted2 and like most others i have enough to play on my 360
the controls need to be the same when you train your brain for hours a day. apologies for also stating the obvious. only poorly made games suck, and there are plenty of them out there. who wants to do the same thing differently when you have 2 or 3 online games on the go.
there will always be innovative games that are overlooked by the masses, no different to the movie and music industries. i kinda like being in the minority, playing/watching/listening to what i want and not...
@ Downtown boogey i think we'll see more genre fusions. RTS & FPS is going to be pretty cool when done properly. RPG & FPS is already done well. still involve guns though. motion controls will bring FP games not involving guns and work pretty well if also executed well.

no comparison old game versus new game. BC2 all the way. MW2 is the same COD for the last 10 years with very little evolution.
