i have no need to install a 640GB drive in my 360. ever heard of NAS. 120GB is fine.
don't buy the wireless one . first one dead out of the box and the second one just sends garbage down the line to all my friends.
as long as i dont end up with another gamecube i couldn't give a sh1t about sales. most of the games i enjoy are multiplats.
it is really up to the developers. at least we have been through the shovelware era and people are more weary of wasting their money. i think both new systems will appeal to the broader audience and possibly do what nintendo have done and bring in more non-gamers etc. and, in the process, give gaming a better rep in the long run.
i hope so, been looking forward to this with the hope it is above average at least.

so you are basing your decision from one youtube video. you do know that it is normal for around 3% (depending on the company) failures in electronics. i am no way defending the old box but don't jump to conclusions, just wait and see. i think there will be a lot of people waiting on this one.

it is what it is. there are plenty of people willing to spend the equivalent of 3 or 4 beers a month for many hours of enjoyment. pretty much anyone with a job could afford it and not notice it.
only scratches disks if you are an idiot. so we can say the 360 is definitely not idiot proof. having said that, you can always replace 'idiot' with 'child' and that is something MS should think about. the disk scratching thing is a non issue to 99% of 360 owners and 0% to PS3 fanboys.
i'll tell you who did lose... the fanboys. last week was by far the most imbecilic showing from fanboys yet.
