BFBC2 copied CoD quite heavily and i suspect it was on EA's orders. i hated the linear SP of BC2 but loved the open world of BC1. the resulting multiplayer seems to be affected as a result. the maps in BC2 are very linear like the game... the maps in BC1 were bigger and generally more circular in shape.
and no i didn't bother after about a third of the way through BC2 SP. BC1 i played through about 4 times and is one of my favorite SP games as well as the MP. i was ju...

i think i am actually dumber after reading this article
pointless
i love it when fanboys try to disguise the fact
dumb comment
@DevastationEve - and the reason is called piracy
@ C0MPUT3R - i thought fanboys could spot other fanboys?
don't buy it and move on... pretty simple really
gamers are a bunch of dicks these days, he is right. as if they owe you anything??? don't like what they do, don't buy it. you all need to get over yourselves and your chickensh1t hiding behind the internet.
i am constantly amazed at the things people say on this site. must be those violent games creating violent gamers again
it has all been done before with the wiimote. so there won't be that much new
did they pay you to bump this article back up the top of the list n4g? i think you need to label it advertising.
1200 points??? not that i have ever bought a CoD map pack as i have never thought they were value
whatever
i doubt it. EA do it with other franchises like skate. EA have seen the money involved in DLC and developers are contractually obliged to obey their greed model.
i think you are the naive one. all you end up doing is missing out... if you are buying it new and it has an online pass then why would you not buy it??? and second hand... well it is aimed at the retailer by making the new copy more appealing, and therefore the retailer is not making the only money from the sale. it is completely reasonable for publishers to want money from second hand games to keep support going.
if i am buying a second hand game and the retailer neglects ...

no but EA will. they already did with BFBC2. EA want the game to be more accessible, so this means CoD.
what exactly is Bad Company style single player??? 1 or 2 because 2 is linear like CoD and 1 is open world.
