same article over and over
you know that is due to mainstream adoption don't you? COD7 Vs BC2 on console. COD has established itself over time as the generic military console shooter and so to someone who doesn't obsess over games (like us lot) it is a safe bet.
the biggest problem with this site is people constantly ignore logic to try to prove a point... either that or there are some very simple-minded people on here
what a crock
1st - rightly so, no point having the best hardware if your software sux (and vice versa MS)
2nd - long term strategy
3rd - see 1st
4th - everyone sues everyone who cares
5th - Sony's lawyers tried every dirty trick in the book
6th - Rightly so
7th - Rightly so

i think the media hype around BF3 will put a dent in CoD sales. the difference in games will be huge with BF3 destroying it gameplay wise just as the last 2 BCs have but this time it will be more apparent and more promoted. CoD is seriously showing it's age in gameplay mechanics. you can only milk something for so long before you need to update it.
they need to target the sheep more, which means marketing saturation. with such a good quality product EA/Dice just need to s...
you get anti-fanboy disagrees when you spout the same tired old crap. whether it is paying for live, rrod, M$... whatever, because you sound like a mindless drone who brings nothing new to the conversation.
doesnt really matter if you are or not, this website would just be a better place without all the same old tired rubbish fanboy comments on every article, like i said, bringing absolutely nothing
this is not news to anyone. well done on the lame obvious article that everyone already knows. now go write an article about how there will definitely be a mario game on the next nintendo console
lets all confirm the obvious
double ban. what an awesome idea. give it back and then take it away again.
i'm still pissed they closed black box who made the skate series
they ruined BFBC2 (single player) in my opinion as well by mimicking COD.
basically anything with potential will go mainstream for sales. this of course ruins what was great about the previous effort in the first place. i played DA2 for about 5 hours and all i wanted to do was turn it off for most of that.
it reminds me of when some of my favourite bands get a new manager a...
RPG games are generally as long as you want them to be. this guy is just obsessed with trophies, he is the one with the problem.
agreed.
unfortunately games, like movies, cost so much to make it is safer to make a sequel to a proven hit than take a gamble with new IP. this is why i rarely pay for movies anymore (especially big budget, will pay for lower budget for sure), they just don't try any more.
this is why portal does so well, not many other fps games that don't have bullets (or arrows). we need to move away from this gun game culture, it can't be healthy for a race to be so...
not a chance.
and you have played them???
yeah, i'm getting a bit bored of bullets
better sales equals better support and better sequels
same game mechanic??? its portal what did you expect?
the point is in the name, you can't really miss it
sales ensure better support and better sequels, so i do care about sales but only so far as whether it sells or not. same as consoles, i cared when no one bought a gamecube, otherwise i agree and will leave the "my game sells more than your game" rubbish to the school kids
i also cared when not many people bought BFBC1 (my favourite BF game to date), but that turned out ok given DICE's longterm plans
