So to recap:
Gimicky controllers. Check
Forced screen interface. Check
Underpowered. Check
Proprietary physical format. Check
So it seems as if they have all of their past failures rolled up in one!
Never change Nintendo...never change. Lol
Well its obvious skyrim is coming to the Switch. My guess would be its a slightly nerfed port of the remaster that the other two are getting.
Why know the horsepower before you buy a car? I get it, there are people out there that think like this...I call them idiots, or in this case casual gamers.
I will. Just disappointed that I have to pay extra for crap I wont use, or habe the system gimped due to keeping it affordable while having those features I wont use. How hard is that to understand?
So a little above a wiiu. Thx!
Killed it with the looks, no doubt.
I can see that being a factor for some. I dont mobile game though, so for me the cost is driven up because of features I will not use and dont want.
So is the dedicated Nintendo handheld dead?
Exactamundo. I would LOVE a home console version cutting out the crap controller, screen and mobile functionality for half the price.
Because they would be in almost the same exact position they were in with the wiiu, inferior 3rd party ports, a gimmicky controller forced onto us, and the only reason for buying being their 1st party games.
Lol. Ya....until we find out the specs, all of this fanboy jizz is just that.
I must say if that Mario game is as open as it looks, Im sold. The portable aspect I could do without though. I would kill for a cheap option with a pro controller and just a system box with no screen or portable options...you know like a traditional HOME console without crap I dont want or need attached driving up the price.
So technically the wiiu could run a remaster since its decidedly more powerful than 360/ps3. Btw, remaster confirmed? Or no?
The pro controller looks nice. Hopefully its packaged in with the system. If not thats an extra $50 to the cost of the system for something that should come with it.
Personally I dont see a 360/ps3 game as any indication of the power of the system, nor do I see it as some huge selling point, but thats just me.
The ONLY exciting thing for me was that the Mario game did appear to be more of a traditional 3d mario game, which would definately be a system s...
You can tack on $50 to whatever the price of the system is for the pro controller.
"Switch" lololololololol
Nice premature celebration White Goodman! You stepped over the line dummy lololololololol
$299
Somewhere below xbone
Mario 2D placeholder, bunch of crap that uses some kind of gimmick
Handheld that outs to the tv with some absolute crap removable controllers. Compatability with iOS
March 29th
PS consoles sell roughly 3.5 times more in NA than Japan. That would put it at 175k for NA and 225k for both in the first week. With EU and the rest of the word bringing it to 300-350k. I think that woulb be considered a success 👍
Xbone sales up over 350%! Xbone the fastest selling rate of any console!
Microsoft commercial incomming!!!
If...IF it is an underpowered handheld that outs to your tv, I hope it is a MASSIVE FAILURE that will finally open their eyes and make them come crawlibg back to their longtime core fanbase that made them great in the first placecwith their tail between their legs.
If it is on par with current gen systems and does not revolve around a gimmick, I hope it is a huge success.
Another difference is that this huge surge in the begenning is solely from core gamers, the price point is assuring this.
ORLY? Is that why they just said that the unit with the screen on it is the main console and the dock is just a dock??? Lol monkey, I love reading your postcards from fantasyland!
