If you watch the gamescom gameplay trailer, the transition from in-game to photomode is instant, there is no loading screen where extra graphical effects are added. It works the same way photomode works on TLOU:R and Infamous SS.
Edit: Here's the trailer:

@Anime
No problem. I didn't think you were bashing it :)
I agree...but to be fair, Horizon wouldn't be Horizon if it didn't have an over-the-top, super-colourful aesthetic. The vibrancy and slightly cartoony look to the visuals really sets it apart from other racers, imo. It's one thing I loved about the first game, it fit really well with the festival setting.
Yup. Don't get me wrong though, it's like I said, FH2 is no slouch. It's just that on a graphical level, it can't compete with DC. I guess that's understandable, though, seeing as FH2 is open world.
FH2 looks amazing, and dare I say....more fun than DC, but this really isn't a contest. DC wins.

What the hell are you even talking about?
Read the article before moving your fingers.
Because he/she doesn't own a PS4.
Also, what Spotie said.
Yup, 100% in-game. Hard to believe, isn't it? The best looking racer, and one of the best looking games ever made.

"Kotaku and NeoGAF are fudgepackers".
Hahaha.
Phil has already said that the deal has a duration, it's not fully exclusive.
There's no way Square are going to miss out on those PS4 sales, the PS4 version of Tomb Raider: DE outsold the X1 version 2:1. They got the big fat check from MS, then they will get another wad of cash when it launches on PS4. It's win-win for them. I bet they;'re grinning from ear to ear.
@chris
Oh yeah, haha, I forgot Halo is out next year. Silly me.
@Flamehawk
Calm down, I said "I like to think", not that it's going to happen.
Haha, nice, I just saw that on GAF.
Yet their games got progressively worse after AC2.
Too many cooks spoil the broth, as they say.
@DragonKnight
I didn't say AC:B was a bad game, but I don't think it was as good as AC2. Revelations was worse than AC:B, 3 was worse than revelations, 4 wasn't even an AC. It was a pirate game with the AC title. *Spoilers* You don't even get officially inducted into the Assassin Order.
So yes, they did get worse af...
It was only Judgement that was considered less-than-stellar. Three was excellent. That horde mode.
I like to think it will be announced late this year, and release Holiday 2015.
But I'm not sure if that's just wishful thinking. Fingers crossed.
It's ridiculous how much and how consistently the PS4 is dominating. I genuinely thought things would start to even out once the X1 got that $100 price drop, but nope.
And TLoU is number one for the entire month of July, despite only a few days worth of sales being counted? As I said, it's ridiculous.
Somehow...I think that's your loss, and not Sony's.
Ahhh, the 'Blades' dashboard. How I miss you so.....
It doesn't impress me in the slightest when developers brag about how many endings their games have. I don't care for hundreds of endings, I would rather have one, well-crafted, ending.
A simple Google back-search will reveal that the PS4 image is from last year. Dat videogame journalism.
Not that it makes it ok or anything. It's a crappy thing to do, and both of them do it.
I didn't say it was, I haven't played it yet. It's just that from the footage of both games that I've seen so far, FH2 looks like it's more balls-to-the-wall fun; whereas DC looks like a more serious, track racer.
Both cater to different moods, which is why I'l be getting both. It's just my opinion, is all.
