Ive heard and read that you get charged when you die but im pretty sure that's false, unless its just me not noticing it. But i haven't noticed any money being taken out of my account when another player has killed me (free roam or deathmatch) nor when ive died during an online mission.
Also, the max money ive collected off a dead player is $100. I don't think you can take any more....but correct me if im wrong.

Easy money:
Hold up stores (even easier in solo session due to no distractions.)
Deliver and sell cars for Simeon (i got 6 grand for one sports car)
Do races (if you come first you get around 5 grand possibly more)
Today alone ive made 25 grand that i spent on a garage for my vehicles. I don't really see the point of the micro transactions if money is this easy to make. Unless you are a lazy rich Ahole.....or don't have much time on yo...
I loved it. But my friends didn't. It's not for everyone. I loved the facial animation tech and how its so detailed and so subtle that the slightest eyebrow twitch or eyeball movement can give signs of guilt, i loved the era the game was set in and the story was decent. It was a little repetitive at times but the department you work in changes as the story progresses so it wasn't too bad.
If you like anything to do with detectives, you should love it.

Me and my friends have been online all day yesterday and today but my other friend can't get past the first race. Seems to be a lottery when it comes to connecting. I feel bad for everyone that can't get online because its so much fun. As soon as you get to level 10-11 you unlock vehicles deathmatches, and they...are..AWESOME. Jet dogfights are my favourite thing about it so far.

Speak for yourself. Ive been on it with 2 friends all day today and yesterday, connected first time at 9 oclock this morning and haven't had a problem since. The Jet dogfights are amazing, one of the best online modes ive ever played.

I would love a Bad Company 3. But only if they keep the heavy clunky feel of the guns and not the light call of duty type of feel of the Battlefield games.
Yeah, i would much rather have new protagonists, as much as i love Joel and Ellies story, it would be nice to see that world from another group or another characters perspective.
Well your predictions are wrong as many people including me and my friends have been playing it all day. Plus, its been more or less fine on 360 since yesterday.
I agree, it does look amazing given the fact its running on 7 year old tech. I just think it would benefit from the power of next gen consoles and PC. Better frame rate, better resolution (the game is jaggie as hell) more features that have been cut due to memory limitations.

Yes, this sucks and im annoyed that R* didn't anticipate this. But at the same time i half expected this, a game this popular was never going to have a smooth launch. I just hope its fixed relatively quickly because im itching to get back on.
Been playing all day, now i can't connect to R* cloud servers.
To be honest, the only thing it would be good for anyway is voice commands and maybe some hand gestures. In a game like this there's not much it could do that a controller cant do 10 times better.
