First of all, Final fantasy is not what it used to be. Hell Final fantasy 12 sold good but not nearly as the franchise is used to. Most gamers I know never even played the game much less waited for it or the last final game they played was the 7 on ps1. Everquest Online Adventures was the best mmo I've ever played and it's a crime really they didn't come up with more updates for it. These guys want MMO's to push the ps3 but they aren't coming out with their top gun, makes no sense.

Really now the gameplay in the demo was really great, the graphics weren't that good but hey, truth is if halo looked like this it would still be given a 10 but since it's a unknown ps3 game the standards change now does it.

I don't care about DRM, it shouldn't be in there at all and I would much less want to have to hook up my player to the internet for it to phone home.
I have a ps3 and I like the thing a lot but in reality blu-ray movies are too expensive for me and whoever mentions online stores in here is just crazy cuz that's not where most people make their purchases. Blu-ray will only start really replacing dvd when players are about 150 bucks and movies for 15.

I don't care if they develop for any system really. Having played Hl2 and some valve games I think these guys are way overrated and HL2 ain't that great of a game. That said I don't care if these guys can't cut it on the ps3 or can't make a game on the DS even. They can just close shop all together for all I care.
I still get errors trying to log into this garbage. This beta instead of getting me hyped has turned me off from the game and I've cancelled my preorder and will just get the game when it hits the "used" racks over at gamestop just to make sure konami doesn't receive one cent from me.
Sega would still be alive and kicking if it were not for their crazy hardware division. I mean, those developers made miracles on stuff like the saturn (I still have my saturn) but if they didn't release crap like the sega cd and 32x who knows where sega could of been right now.

I have been a gamer all my life and I've always considered games for what they are, a MEDIUM of entertainment. This isn't repulsive or nothing at all and just makes me laugh, as parent I never let my kids play GTA and since they can't have jobs or anything till they are 18-16 I help em out picking up games and completely understand the ratings and decide what is acceptable for them to see or not.

This beta has just been an all around terrible expirience and a complete mess. Konami you've gone on ahead and completely ruined my needs to give you my money. Like I said in another forum, if I don't see my online beta working by tomorrow im officially canceling my pre-order at gamestop and will get the game used just so konami doesn't see one god-dam cent from me.
This beta premiere was free,but this thing wasted something more precious than money, it wasted my gdamn time.
I haven't finished a GTA game since the third one, I didn't finish vice city for some reason I forgot and San andreas there was a part where the story doesn't go anywhere for some reason so I stopped there too.
These games are good but it's the usual mission based thing around a huge area, pick up this and bring it there, kill someone and get away... you guys know the drill.
Hopefully this time around the guys over at rockstar can come up with fresh new ideas.

Sorry to all of you who disagree and your entitled to, but no way Im I paying 40 bucks for 7-6 tracks and I don't care what # number of cars it has. F.E.A.R on PC was a great game. Hopefully the sequel will be just as scary.
She does have valid points about the game.
I have and like the game a lot but still, the game does have too much movies for my taste to consider it's single player campaign to be the end all be all of gaming like some people here scream out. Kojima's style of having the story advance 95% through cut-scenes take away too much time from the game imo.
The game still shines bright IMO maybe not being a 10 but more of a healthy 9 thanks to the great addition of Metal Gear Onli...
