Once during the original xbox era and one year during the 360's time and both times I did so wondering if the "service" was worth it since so many friends of mine where using it. GTa games that I completed where gta 3 and 4, I did play vice city but not to the end for some reason. I actually liked gta4 a lot and it was a solid 9 in my book. Nothing like the original gta3 thou, back then it was just aweinspiring to play something of that scope back on in the day.
I played the mafia 2 demo on pc and enjoyed it a lot. The writer of the article makes some interesting points about the gta series which I agree with most of them.
And will be checking the game out on steam or by friends when It comes out, I haven't played the original but I have heard nothing but good things about it.
Oblivion for me, took me 100 hours to finish the main quest,(was doing side quests atm) and I didn't even try to close all the loose gates before going to the finale. My favorite RPG of all time.

I wholeheartedly agree, gamers these days are talking too much about sales and therefore think that if it sells a whole lot it MUST be good. Casuals notice when a game catches on big in sales and hop on the bandwagon quick. They think that particular game is the best that the industry has to offer and who is there to tell them different when a lot of people here play Call of Duty cuz don't know any better than to hop on a game cuz "it sold big".
