The people who says this looks good probably have not played the old Final Fantasy games. Like you said, it does not look new and fresh. Graphically this looks pretty boring with almost everything the same color. Just like FFXV the characters aren't memorably either.
I wish they would make Final Fantasy game with the quality of FFVI, VII, VIII and IX. Those games are still the greatest Final Fantasy games out there. But it looks like they don't know how to make gam...
I'm not even surprised. They should port it to consoles and take out the monetization.
Final Fantasy hasn't been traditional for a long time now. Most JRPG's have become just RPG's now. I miss the days of Squaresoft.
I refuse to buy a drive that is half the price of the console itself. It's crazy that there is almost no backlash on the pricing of SSD's. The cost can be half of what it is now and they still would make good money off of it. Even the normal drives are overpriced after all those years.
I wish they'd make an daily/weekly offline race/championship with enough price money to keep things fresh and interesting. Buying expensive cars is such a painful grind grind right now.
Of course they want you to use real money to buy credits.
You don't feel much better now?
Maybe that was the point Kojima was trying to make.
Looks like FFXV, so not that good. They should make JRPG's games like they did back in the 90's. But quality and creativity has been long gone from gaming with a few exceptions.
Games nowadays are made by money an investors who tell developers what to do. Sad really.
If Sony was really smart, they'd do the exact opposite of what Pachter says.
As usual Europe gets fucked, both in date and in price.
This game would do so well with a remake.
"When you will get promoted/acquired next level (for example from 43 to 44) classic BF “DunDun Dun DunDunDun” theme SFX will play".
This maybe a sign of things to come. I know they said right now everyone is working on BF 2042 to make it better, but is it possible?
Yes, I've always said they have to look back at the older Final Fantasy games and what made them so successful. Games like FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII and FFIX are masterpieces, but also games like Chrono Trigger, Vagrant Story, Saga Frontier.
PS1 and PS2 era, gaming was really special back then.
Don't click on the article of them saying "Here is what it does".
They could have simply said 'system performance'. There is nothing more to it.
Driver
NBA Street
Timesplitters
SSX
Prince of Persia
Stuntman
Splinter Cell
Black
Maximo
Suikoden
And I'm not even talking about all the remastered that have been released on the PS3 and PS4.
Never believe reviewers who give 10/10. No matter how good a games is, there are always some things to criticize.
The maps are the biggest problem. As long as they don't fix those dramatically, the game at it's core will always be terrible. Maps are 80% experience of a multiplayer shooter.
Good thing they give advice on the best TV setting. I bet a lot of gamers have their TV setup totally wrong.
I have a funny feeling this game isn't going to be good.
