Mark Cerny said that the PS4 cooling wasn't the best and they would do better with the PS5. I don't mind having a bigger console as long as it's quiet. The noise that comes out of my PS4 Pro with some games is insane.
Typical left crazies, always bitching and wanting everything to go their way while they have no idea what they talk about.
This is a great example how they want to destroy everything that doesn't fit in their weird agenda. These are African mask based on African tradition and art. But I guess they don't want that in movies and games. Makes me wonder who the real racist is.
Underwater ruins, flying mounts, robot mammoths, fuck yes!
Not realistic but some of what I want so see:
MGS1 remake
Soul Reaver remake/reboot
Vagrant Story remake/reboot
Silent Hill remake/reboot
Syphon Filter
Bloodborne II
Horizon Zero Dawn 2
Battlefield 6 or BFBC3
GTA 6 Vice City
New Uncharted game
New Kojima game
And the majority of PS1 and PS2 games available on the PS5, either to download or on PS Now.
After the backlash of GT Sport at the beginning I'm pretty sure they are not going to make the same mistake again.
That means a Single Player mode, a lot of cars and tracks. Makes me wonder if a launch title would be possible.
@Spenok
Wtf are you talking about? They still had the loot boxes at the beginning. I still have a ton of crystals or credits whatever it was you could use back then. It's been years so how it exactly worked I can't remember.
Bought it on release and played it a couple of weeks. But EA screwed up with the loot boxes and pay 2 win stuff so I stopped playing.
Last week I downloaded it again and I'm having fun with it. It is the most Star Wars you can get in a game, that is what DICE did right.
I wouldn't say Xenoblade has a regular RPG battle system. It's more like an MMORPG.
I've seen reactions from different people in the gaming industry who know what they are talking about, and they all say PS5 is more powerful than you might think at first. It is not about Teraflops anymore in this generation of consoles. What is more important is the SSD and getting rid of the bottleneck problems, and that is exactly what Sony is doing right.
But how the Xbox and PS5 really perform we have to wait and see.
A good example is Death Stranding. None of the characters stand out or are memorable. Compare this with characters created in Metal Gear Solid like Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, Otacon, Ocelot, Sniper Wolf, Psycho Mantis, The Boss (both of them) and I can go on like this. Unforgettable, all of them.
I don't see much difference with the other COD games. All of them use terrible net codes and the lag compensation is way too strong. The lower your ping the worse the connection gets.
A big part of Origins and Odyssey was the setting it took place in, including nature and wildlife. In Origins there are huge deserts with almost nothing in it, just sand. I like that there is the option to just ride your horse in the desert, or forests and explore if you want to. If you don't then ignore it.
But there had to be a good fast travel system for the players who just want to focus on story and not want to explore everything. No loading times PS5 FTW!
I feel like this is going to be another Days Gone. The game got hyped so much that after people got disappointed with the game, while in fact Days Gone is a good game.
It's the same with this game. It looks like a good game, but not more than that.
Not because it's turn based. Final Fantasy also was turn based for a long time. It's because Final Fantasy VII was a huge success in the west. From that moment on everyone knew Final Fantasy.
But I have to say; while I enjoyed Dragon Quest XI, I think the fighting was the weaker part of the game. It's kind of boring and slow even for a turned based game. If they can make that more interesting, than it could be more successful in the west.
Also...
@Edgelordsupreme
I didn't say that. The point is that the you won't see next gen titles that look twice as good as those games. Frame rate, ray tracing and loading times are the most noticeable changes that you will see.
First year or so developers are still learning the new systems and (upgraded) game engines. But even so the graphical leap won't be as big as say PS3 to PS4. Looking at games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man and Uncharted 4 for example, it can't improve a lot in 4K.
The frame rate and loading times are the biggest differences for next gen.
Yes I agree. The exploring and walking around in Origins and Odyssey is what I enjoyed most. They did a great job in making it feel like you are really in that world in that time.
The missions did become kind of repetitive after a while so they should work on making that better. The size of the world can still be big, especially with the PS5 having no loading times during fast travel. Man I can't wait for that.
I hope it will go back to the BFBC2 and BF3 days. Something about those games felt so much better than the BF1 and BF5. I'm not sure if it's the engine or design that is different but the older BF games felt more 'raw'.
No it isn't. Aerith's death is part of the whole story. She knew she would die facing Sephiroth so she could summon Holy to safe the planet.
Also in the remake just when he meets Aerith, you can see Cloud having a vision this is going to happen.
Depend on what was written in the contract. Maybe they have to stay with MS, maybe they cannot go back to Twitch for more than xx years. Or maybe they are free to do whatever they want.
