Playing on PS4 and there is definitely input lag because of the always online mode. For example running over food and not be able to pick it up until I am 3 steps passed it. Or arrows going right trough the enemies. To switch characters can take multiple button presses before it registers. Lag in the quick select menus.
I have wired 7-11ms connection all the time so it's not on my end. Something is wrong with the game, at least on the server that I am on.
I was hoping for a lot faster. Downloading with high speed internet is almost the same.
Only for BC games. No Next gen games available yet so we still don't know how the sound is with a full workload.
Also they now have the engine and a lot of experience because of GoW 2018. Things will go a lot smoother and faster now.
It's because of Corona and people sitting at home for months. Things like PS Now, Netflix and Disney+ also have a huge increase in subscriptions lately.
I don't like the graphics. It works fine for FF14 as an MMO, but for a next gen single player Final Fantasy I was expecting more. Even the FFVII remake look better than this.
It's not a smart move from Microsoft. This whole next generation developers have to develop games with a low powered console in mind. I mean let that sink in for a moment. Especially for Microsoft exclusive games they have to cut back and rethink parts of games or it won't be the same game on both the S and X. Multiplayer games have to run at the same framerate as well or you will be at a disadvantage on the S.
Sony has done the much smarter thing. Simply a digital...
This is the most logical thing to do from a business point of view. Make money of a view PS5's or target the whole PS4 100 million+ gamers with it.
It will hold back games made for the PS5 but that is mostly the case with a new generation console. The real potential of a new console usually starts a year after launch. The best is yet to come.
They most likely will make more money from the digital console because they get more from digital games while cutting back on discs and stuff. Also going digital means no more selling games which is good for Sony.
"Our next digital showcase will weigh in at around 40 minutes, and feature updates on the latest titles from Worldwide Studios and our world-class development partners."
Tell me there will be a price and date reveal as well.
That's the one thing I want most on the PS5. Be able to download all PS1 and PS2 games ever made, or at least the best of them.
So true. Trophies should be challenging, not extremely difficult.
I think it's pretty clear what Microsoft wants for the future of gaming. They want their Game Pass to be the Netflix of gaming for now and for the future. From a business standpoint the Xbox will help them sell it but will not be their main product.
They already excepted that they cannot "win" from Sony and Nintendo worldwide. Now they changed their strategy to the Game Pass.
Technically Nintendo is ahead when it comes to console releases. The Switch should be on par with the PS5 if you look at it that way.
But Nintendo is not about the most powerful console. The Wii and Switch are prove of that. They always have done things their own way.
I noticed that too. Overall not great, especially the face animations. Was this made by a different team or something?
I disagree with that. Take for example AC Origins were there is a huge desert with almost nothing in it, just sand. If you don't want you never have to go there, but it's still a great way to make the world feel more real.
If there are places like deserts, forests or plains were you can walk or travel and explore optional then that is a nice bonus. It shouldn't take away from the story gameplay though. And there always should be a good fast travel system.
That is what will happen. I would only buy a few AAA games that I really want. All the other game I would wait for a price drop. Gaming already is a very expensive hobby.
The map design in MW is the worst of all the COD games. So if the maps will be the quality of BO then this is a huge plus. Dead Silence needs to be a perk. It's the only way to run and gun without sound whoring by others. Overall I hope it's more like BO and BO2.
It was already impressive in Uncharted 4
The fan noise is one of the most important things for me for the PS5. We don't know the temperature of the room he was playing in, and my PS4 Pro was quiet for the first 3 months as well. So we'll have to see if it stays quiet all the time, especially with more power demanding games in the future.
