In 4K (soon 8K) at 120fps!
How is it a threat again? Maybe if Stadia released right around the time of PS Pro/X1X with a similar price then maybe. Remember when Mobile gaming was the trend and people thought console gaming was a dying breed? Yeah what are those casuals up these days.
I'm not scared. I think it's great to introduce an alternate method of gaming. But I'm not on board with this concept until the majority of us can have solid/reliable internet connection.
Here's the difference between Netflix vs gaming:
When there's interference with your internet as you're watching Netflix, it's not that big of a deal as the qualify dips or buffers and we can rewatch the scene again - no biggie. But with gaming, imagine you are ...
Reasons why I want fast travel:
Stupid repetitive fetch quests or forcing the player to cross an annoying location multiple times.
Business as usual, console with the best exclusive games, 3rd party support, price and performance difference wins.
Anthem at top spot. Next month not on the list.
The moment I hear Phil Harrison, my confidence for Stadia went down hill.
At first, I thought, impressive with the 1080p/4k 60-120fps. Then it went down hill from then on out. Where's the wow factor in the games? At least the cloud power looks more real.
But but but in the Walking Dead there were kid walkers and they were shot to death.
And in one of my worse movies of all time, Aliens vs Predator: Requiem, an alien burst out of a kid.
Insomniac for the next Marvel game.
Fromsoft for the next BB/Armored Core
Blue Point to remake classics
Super Massive for sequels to Until Dawn like games
Kojima Productions for...well, weird games by Kojima.
Resurrect/remake just like some of the indie are doing with Streets of Rage and Wonder Boy! I want Fantasy Zone, Shinobi, Goldden Axe, and... Ghost House!
I can see it now. Bloodborne 2, player struggles getting pass a few early enemies,
PS5: Stop charging in a like a newb. Go take a break and come back with a new strategy.
What is gamingbolt.
The game will look gorgeous at E3 with lots of promises and then watch it downgrade upon release with heavy MT.
Are Bloodborne and Nioh considered JRPG? Because I like them; story and game play especially BB.Then there's Dragon's Crown which I started but need to get back and finish it.
Amy Henning is Right - EA Game Development Is Becoming Unsustainable.
It looks like Sumo was tricked into believing in the Cloud Power so they went to work. But when the development was coming near, MS gave them the news that CP isn't coming so Sumo had to scramble to downgrade the game to fit the Xbox one specs. At the beginning of the video where the dev lost track of his presentation felt like he was given the news that the Cloud Power was all BS.
Looks like Sony's 1st party games are the only ones we'll hear the old "gone gold" status. Would be nice to hear this status with 3rd party studios weeks before launch but those days are gone.
That's sexist. What about violence against dudes? Would someone think of us dudes! #DudesMatter!
I know Jade Raymond is old but she does not look like any of the photos I always see posted here.
