I don't think it really represents how you are as a gamer: more like how much time and money you have to get and play games!
But I do like the unlocked and trophy sounds too :p
Ghost recon was the ORIGINAL modern warfare shooter this gen.
Everyone seems to think it all began with COD4!
So looking forward to this one!!!
Do people really buy this stuff for their Sims?
Oh I guess people buy stuff for their Xbox avatars, so this isn't too different...
I was worried about how this game would turn out...looks like I didn't have to!
For me nothing beats those haunting old fashioned hospital or orphanage levels that seem a lot like prisons!
Actual prisons? Chronicle of Riddick...?
This one was intriguing to begin with, but then just looked ridiculous, like the movie.
There are so many cool ideas out there to make into films and games and someone says: hey lets meld the board game into a big blockbuster, and someone else says "yeah, great idea!"
?????
Or you could jump in a vehicle too? :)
I still own a copy of The Outfit. It's a fantastic under-appreciated game, especially for its time.
Chuk5 is right. Hardcore gamers knew about this title but the consumer horde who buy COD or Halo every year didn't.
It wasn't really on too many people's radar as far as I know, and that's among fellow gamers I know.
It really is a shame, but people think sci fi shooter....Halo or Killzone.
Sony needs to promote these less mainstream games a bit better
Sandbox games are fun but I still like the focus of a game to be story. It seems that the more you can do in the sandbox, the more the story suffers.
Exceptions are GTA and Red Dead Redemption, and AC 2.
It sounds like some of it should have been tossed out and more depth given to what worked.
Thief 4 trailer! Please! It's becoming a modern Duke Nukem.
There are some interesting ones out of that list missing like Starhawk or Halo 4, but mostly good.
Yeah same series, new style = keep old fans + gain new ones or those disenchanted
@ Hooshuwashu
Lol, if that isn't copying I don't know what is:
EA Meeting:
"okay we need a title besides just Medal of Honor: we've used that twice now."
"How about MOH: Warfighter?"
"Brilliant! But it vaguely sounds familiar....wasn't that GRAW Warfighter?"
"Ummm... yeah but everyone calls it GRAW, and that was a couple of years ago. Nobody...
I'm like the author...totally over COD after the last few titles, but now this has me hooked.
As long as it doesn't lead me by the hand "Follow!" all the time again, so that I don't notice substandard details when I slow down like in MW3....
I can't say the look inspires me, but I've heard a lot of good things about this game.
What you are trying to be realistic in a sci fi game like Halo?
That is a fair concern. 'Realistic shooter' seems to make things be seen through blue, brown, or yellow filters...if Halo is trying to go the same way, it may lose that colour.
On the other hand a game like Crysis 3 is adding some colour back into the game, which is great.
That was a fun game! Also Timesplitters 2
I know some people who buy or play certain games JUST to get easy gamerscore points.
