I stand corrected: This is GTA + : much more involved gameplay, with the better elements of GTA.
Sold.
It's the only game to look even close to doing something GTA-ish, but better.
But GTA is more about cars and such. We haven't seen any driving yet in Watch Dogs
I know this is off topic, but those lasers! Awesome!
I think it's still supposed to be this gen, but you never know. The Star Wars one I'm pretty sure will be next gen.
It sure makes me wonder about all this interconnected technology!
I'm starting to feel like Bill Adama and want to disconnect all my tech! Then I think of my iPad, PSN, Xbox Live...sigh. I'm doomed.
I remember playing Jordan vs. Bird on my Apple IIe....
It'll be more about action though it seems?
I love Ironside. His gritty sardonic tone cannot be repeated.
I'll miss him :(
I'm sorry to see that Darksiders 2 is a disappointment.
I'm surprised that ZombiU seems okay, except for the graphics though.
Good to see that both Assassin's Creed games are living up to expectation
That's right. Thinking out of the box and testing new ideas can make awesome games still on our current gen systems.
It's not all about power and that. It's about thinking through gameplay styles and ideas too.
It's hard to get too disappointed when there are so many really great looking games.
But yeah, the conferences were pretty ordinary from what I saw.
Watch Dogs is one that caught my eye too.
Good to see that Hitman is staying Hitman and not ActionMan.
I was the biggest N fan too back in the N64 day. I even loved the Gamecube and sucker that I am bought Wii.
I'm not touching this system.
Ouch.
But it's true. It wasn't very impressive at all. The games are all the same with a Wii U Zombie game to again try and look 'mature' after all.
Overall there have been NO real surprises from MS, Sony or Nintendo this year.
But then, does it matter if we still have lots of games to play? :)
I think it mattered to begin with, and certainly game or DLC exclusives matter, but not 'timed' DLC.
MS must see something in it, but I'm not convinced it is a strategy with any longevity, until the next consoles
I agree. It seems like a stupid outdated idea that only serves to piss people off.
So you have a few weeks of DLC ahead of someone else? Why is that some bragging thing?
Watch Dogs seems to be the new Semi stealth game for Ubi....it looks a bit like Hitman.
Splinter Cell looks like a mix between Assassin's Creed and Ghost Recon.
I've always been a huge fan of Ironside and noticed that the voice wasn't the same.
I wonder if he was asking for too much?
I agree actually. It wasn't so biased that the points weren't well made. I have both consoles and both shows were good about showing footage of games, but not really good about surprising us.
Resident Evil still looked like the movement was awkward in the video...
