It's like the fun point and click adventure games...they'll only be found on PC now!
Well they have magic in all those games, so maybe they think we can conjure up more?
I don't want to look back on my life and say: wow I wasted most of it on a MMO that went nowhere!
But if it is a fun pastime, there's no harm. Then look at the link below and you see that these Free 2 Play games are using gambling techniques to keep you coming back and buying extras. That worries me a bit, as I have a son who likes those fantasy worlds better than th...
Ubisoft have promised 1-2 new IPs every year.
That's reassuring at least.
Resident Evil 4 was great because it got a good mix going. I'm not sure Dead Space 3 is heading in the right direction now.
We have lots of 'space marine' shooter games, even co-op (Lost Planet, Gears of War). This seems to have gone away from its roots, big time.
Makes sense to me! Unless they are saying "everyone is copying me, therefore making it too much this and that..."
It will indeed be hard to attract people when most of these games are similar fantasy style.
The Foundry in particular does seem to make it attractive though.
Nope...looks like it is true:
"Peter Molyneux went on to say that he would be shocked if somebody actually bought the chisel and that, if somehow it did happen, he would invest the money back into the experience."
This buying of 'imaginary' stuff is really showing that some people have too much money. I guess he wants to see how gullible (and rich) some people really are?
“There is a very real moral issue in getting people addicted and taking their money”
I'm dismayed that they use gambling techniques to grab gamer's money with F2P gaming. Not surprised though...nothing really is free.
Yeah it didn't really make it more fun, just disjointed and slower
I'm so pumped for this game, but I wish it included The siege of Quebec City from the Seven Years War in the part they are doing that precedes the revolution
It's a big call to say it is the best sports title ever before it is released.
A sequel hopefully will be made. Did they make enough money to warrant one, does anyone know?
Stupid name though
YES!
This game seemed like a lot of fun in the demo, and a bit different to other RPGs with more fluid combat.
But the difficulty bit and lack of saves/quick travel worries me.
I'm hoping this is good, but not holding my breath until I play some of it. Could be generic.
I'd love a Timesplitters with the Borderlands 2 style art. And split screen multi with a map editor. PLEASE :)
Ummm....maybe because there aren't many Xbox exclusive titles? Didn't he say something about Gears of War?
Yup: "I believe it (Last of Us) stands out from all the brown, dull environments of the past few years (I’m looking at you, Gears of War)."
Looks like you are the 'most biased sh* fanboy ever!' :p
Well put.
I agree. Single player should be more than a scripted event after another with occasional shooting.
Double Dragon brings back memories...
