Somebody with some sense on here.
All I know is the game was and still is beautiful and runs like a charm. No performance issues whatsoever.
All I am hearing is a lot of pessimism. At least let them release a couple of these games first before we judge the situation. As for Factions it seems like Bungie came in and dd their job by evaluating it and saying hey it needs to cook longer.
If Sony listened to the pessimistic crowd they wouldn’t have gone into the VR space. Now that Apple is set to announce VR, PSVR2 is going to sell even further because Apple will certainly being more mainstream exposure to VR.
I thought journalists had connections. Why not ask Sony directly?
Now he will be on the inside trading a pack of cigarettes for a pack of ramen noodles.
End of the day you have to look out for yourself in your career. Whatever they are making may never reach the heights of GOW but he obviously will make more income on a persona level. I’m all for it.
I didn’t know people actually bought fighting games to play the single player mode.
It’ll all come down to performance. The more responsive it is the better its chances of success.
“The best scenario is the first batch of GaaS games underperform, Jim Ryans plans backfire, the higher ups scramble, they backtrack on these new ideas, replace Jim Ryan and go back to what to they were originally doing.”
Damn so you hope they fail? I don’t
know you personally but that’s some selfish ish there. If it fails a lot of people will be out of work. Some of you take this hobby way too personal.
CGI only trailers fail to impress regardless of what game it is. MGS Delta left me unimpressed as well and we know that will be a highly reviewed game.
21 million cats would prefer that you pet a dog instead of messing with them. 😂
ND never provided a release window so they can’t be accused of delaying the game. So no it’s not the same as what MS has done repeatedly.
It’s also wise to make sure the game is good before release because you only get one chance. Just look what happened with Redfall.
I never got to play the original, but yeah these look good.
That’s grand considering the article talks about ignoring others’ opinions.
Let there be development hell. So what? At least they have the decency and respect for their customers to not release a broken POS with delayed features.
Now we have articles that are to the opposite extreme. The reality is the show was
somewhere in the middle. Nothing fantastic and nothing terrible.
I get that the show could have been more exciting but let’s not exaggerate here. You still have FF16 and Spiderman 2 dropping over the next few months. They will both be great games and they will both move more consoles. We all know the games are coming.
No denying they showed a lot of games but overall it was underwhelming. I guess my expectations were too high. They showed nothing from their classic studios.
I didn’t care for Death Stranding so I am. ot looking forward to a sequel.
What should be concerning is that MS thought Redfall was worth pushing but not so much Hi-Fi Rush.
