Uncharted proved that a game can be self containing and tell its own story. It doesn't need to end on a cliffhanger, it can have its own beginning, middle and end and feel satisfying when you actually reach the end. It doesn't rely on sequel hype, they all stand alone, and if you can tell a good story you can make as many as you want. Uncharted 4 arguably had the best story, so it's not like you need to cancel a series just because you had 3 iterations.

It's not clear if only 1st party devs will be able to take advantage of the more than 2x faster SSD at 5.5 GB/S, compared to 2.4 on Xbox. A dev just needs to know what they're doing. Hopefully they will figure it out for multiplatform releases.

They honestly need another Infamous built from the ground up, their Second Son game looked better than any remaster will ever look, and it played great. They needed to expand on some of their ideas but eventually fell into Spiderman, so it's not a total loss.
The key is only buying games when they're dirt ass cheap, never on new release. Buying on new release is a waste of money if you have a gaming backlog. It isn't like games have a shelf life where they are no longer playable, and with patches the general trend is that games get way better after release with bug fixes, balancing issues addressed, more content added etc, so you pay less for an ultimately better game than on release day.
