It's value will be dependent if there is any single player, or single player DLC if there isn't any on launch day. If it's all MP then they had better give away all DLC for free with such a low value proposition.
It's worrying considering the lackluster quality and design of previous NFS games. They were grindy boring games with bad arcade physics and loot boxes. Screw that noise.
If those games require any online community to be any fun good luck waiting till 4 years after the game has released to finally get it expecting there to be tons of online players -_-
They really need to make better side quests though. The side quests are lame fetch quests that a high ranking person would never actually complete in any circumstance.
Additionally the side quest writing of just being able to have sex with someone immediately after everyone in their family was just killed also makes no sense and just screams of undersexed frustrations of the writers and by extension gamers.
The Walking Dead Episode 1's ending is the only time I've ever cried playing a videogame, and I've played everything.
I played it again choosing all different choices, and I still cried at the end.
Telltale games going under is a tragedy on the level of EA screwing up Mass Efffect and Dead Space.
The cover art isn't actually Chris, it's a different minor character who gets eaten by an alligator or shark.
Grey Fox was the shiz, but why would you want to play as whiny Raiden?
Raiden was the embodiment of how game developers see their customers, the gamer. That's why he's androgenous, representing all male and female gamers. That's also why he was so whiny, because gamers do nothing but whine about everything which frustrates the hell out of devs and publishers lol so you feel their pain. That was the whole point of that character. It was a conceptual representati...
Unbelievable. Scores are literally all over the place ranging from 5/10 to 10/10. Reviews are such clickbait nonsense these days.
There was no PS4 Twisted Metal game. Last one was PS3 and it was not bad. Very difficult but not bad.
Well dang, looks like my song "God is getting high on stardust" won't be making it into the game... -_-
Oh great, the "If you didn't care you wouldn't have said anything" tired bullshit argument.
On topic, if the PS5 comes anywhere near high end PC's of the generation that it releases with it will be a miracle if it only costs 500 bucks.
Found the virtue signalling fag -_-
Great, I wonder if all the girls in the new group's periods all sync up and at the end of the game they go all PMS on the final boss -_-
The name is the least of their concerns... the market is already over saturated. Trying to steal a piece of the same pie away from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo is going to be very difficult for any company. Microsoft is the newest of the three at the game and they're still making hit and miss decisions after almost 17 years in the business this November, and I can hardly believe it's been that long since xbox first released.
I feel old -_-
Geesh, if people really hate the lack of checkpoints then I don't suggest playing any of the Souls/Bourne games lol
It seems all the things you need to grind for are superficial. If the game is fun then unlocking them will come naturally. It's when the gameplay is monotonous that it feels like a chore.
I do laugh at how gamers really are just a group of whiny angry losers who can't see things for what they are or concede actual logic. They are the most jaded, bitter and angry virgins I've ever seen lol publishers and developers can't stand them quite frankly, they just need their money.
I think NetherRealm wants people to play the heck out of the game to keep the online community booming. If you don't actually like the actual gameplay then yes, it will feel like a chore and won't be fun but if the gameplay is fun then you'll have no problem unlocking anything because it will just come naturally.
I think we've been spoiled by the dopamine rush of game design that give you unlocks every 5 minutes to keep you engaged. Back in the day we used to play ga...
Like RealOldGamer I'm surprised anyone is still trying to log on to that giant turd to play it.
Here's something developers forgot - their needs to be actual fun game design that rewards the player. Pretty graphics can't cut it. Just look at what happened to Lair on PS3. Beautiful looking when it released, horrible design and controls.
They were very selective with which walls could be shot through and which couldn't. For realism purposes not every caliber bullet should be able to go through every type and thickness of wall material, so who knows how accurately that will all be programmed? We'll see.
