People who are fine with 30fps a clearly not PC gamers. Get a PC and spend a year playing at 60, 100, 120 fps and then come back to 30fps and tell me with a straight face that the experience is the same.
Or for people who do not game on PC.
I'm sorry, but I jumped on the PC train and have a RTX 3080 and get high FPS. Going back to 30fps is like watching claymation.
Get used to playing PC games at 100+ fps then come back to 30fps and tell me the experience is the same....
I'm sorry but technically 24fps is also playable but would you want that?
This is why I jumped to PC gaming in which 60fps is the minimum and I can reach up to 100+ fps.

And to be generic would require a previous open world SW game to compare to....which there isnt.
My God do people realize that this announcement does not mean Ubisoft now has exclusive rights or that SW games will now be shared with EA/Ubisoft?
This only means that more developers will now be able to make SW games. It just happens that Ubisoft is the first out of the chute.
When you play on PC you get a premium experience so you do not expect to pay a similar price.
Its like getting a Honda Civic and asking "what Ferrari can get me to work on time for $18,000?"
You do know that there will be other developers now, not just Ubisoft that will make Star Wars games correct?
Why do people keep referencing Ubisoft? They are not the sole publishers/developers of Star Wars games the same way EA was. They are just one of many non EA developers that will now get their opportunity at a Star Wars games. It just happens that Ubisoft is the first announced game but there will he many more that are not from Ubisoft.
