You base this off one video no bigger than a matchbox? no doubt the pc settings are at low. Im playing bf3 at 60 fps in native 1080p on a 24 inch screen on ultra settings... the differance is phenominal. keep kidding yourself.
my flat mate bought it for his PS3 i got it for my PC. The differance at ultra settings is phenominal, at low setting on pc yes maybe the differances are negligible but on a high end pc.. 60+fps at 1080p on anything high or above makes ps3 and xbox360 look like last gen, seriously.
wtf? dual 6990's only got you 50 fps? my single 6950 unlocked got me 50 fps on ultra. i dont understand?
after reading your comment i can confirm 2 things:
-you are a cod fanboy
-you have no concept of AI scaling with difficulty
amazing, cant wait to wake up friday with this sitting on my doorstep.
is there free cake?

regardless of how close this beta was released to the actual release date of the game. Battlelog, the beta terms of service and feedback forums prove its a late beta to pave way for patches and other hotifxes on launch day. the only person that says its a demo is you and other cod fans. The people who matter, dice and the media, are calling it a beta. so suck it up.
its a beta, play it before you say its a demo.
nugundam read the article is says 80% of gamers WANT to upgrade, not need.. the article is flamebait and looking for hits clearly
i dont think you need to upgrade at all, your rig would run bf2 way beyond anything a console can. are you going to be in the beta?
dont think the i7 is worth the extra cash, i'd go with an i5 2600k at anything over 4ghz (easily done). you're spot on with the gpu's though.
i do think that people are inflating what specs are neccessary for this game. but i guess we'll all find out come monday/tuesday.
what i dont understand is im running an i5-2500k @4.5ghz and an unlocked 6950 @950 mhz on an OCZ 400w supply. plus im water cooled. i dont know how i get away with it.
i5-2500k @4.5ghz
sapphire Toxic 6950 2GB Unlocked with 6970 bios @950mhz
corsair vengeance 8 gig 1600mhz
depending on how things go, i might get another 6950 or 70 at christmas

oh god no, you think this applies to origin aswell?

@trophy i agree. also, i think scores are lazy, if a review is written well and structured properly, i should be able to discern whether a game is worth a buy and its acclaim without looking at the number.
i guess for some people its about convenience but it just seems like these numbers are being used by people to brand games they've read nothing about.
i think its healthy if people find a reviewer they can relate to (tastewise) and make informed decisio...
good review, i own both collectors versions of ico and sotc (the original ones with art cards, lucky i know but the card cases now look like they're made of loo roll) so im not sure if its worth me picking up the hd release.
i think i speak for many gamers when i say how disappointing this is. worst part is all this content probably wont come down in price in line with how most cod games are still pushing £30/$50. so no getting bundles a few months down the line.
i dont hate CoD att all, maybe im just bored of it. I dont like how people assume that if you enjoy battlefield you now dispise CoD. certainly not, i had many good times in CoD games, im just ready for something new.
i think they mean , say you get an 11 kill streak, get the hele reward, you die, the reward is still usable after death.
infact after reading the article again, the title could be correct, depending on what support mode is. maybe its some all guns blazing air support cluster f*ck.
then what the hell is the point of making it a sandbox game? The fact that you can and have to drive to your destination has always been an integral part of the gta sandbox expierience. Rockstar go to enormous lengths to create the immersive environment and make it come to life, and people complain they have to actually move through it..
it's like saying "oh guns are so boring to me now, why can't we kill people in bf3 or mw3 with super powers and monsters" ...
