It's not that bad. I have personally played through the PS4 version and except some chase scenes and explosive sequences, it seems to be a fairly good console version. Hopefully, Avalance will fix these issues via Patch. I believe they will since Just Cause is like their baby.
The name of the developer is in the article. Not sure why anyone would consider this as fake.
It's fine if you don't want to believe. The name of the developer is also mentioned in the article.
"A representative from FireLight Technologies confirmed to GamingBolt via email"
An example: Xbox One gives the developer 50-80% CPU allocation for the 7th core. This is a "static" allocation wherein the percentage is defined.
Dynamic allocation depends on how much is free at a given moment.
I think static allocation is good since the dev knows before hand how much they need to use.
My order:
Gameplay:
MGS5 > MGS 3 > MGS PW > MGS > MGS 2 > MGS 4
Story:
MGS3 > MGS > MGS 4 > MGS PW = MGS 2 > MGS 5
Seems like developers are now aiming for better post processing effects and better fps performance over pixel count.
Did you actually watched the video? The video is rendered at 60fps but the game runs at 30fps. Try listening to what the guy is saying dear friend :)
Big Boss was never dead. He was in the comatose situation, kept alive by the Patriots. This was explained in MGS4.
The Phantom Pain does not explain anything...and even if it did, it messes up the timeline by making VS the Big Boss of the original Metal Gear.
Not really. The game was also advertised as the missing link to the events of the original Metal Gear. So no...even though your explanation makes sense.
This is not true. We have been working on this analysis for a while. Only got the chance to publish it today. Editing video, writing a 2000 word article for the site and another set of 1500 words for the video only, and then voice over work, uploading to Youtube is not called ripping off. It's a process that takes 3-4 days.
Its not happening in my opinion. They would rather release a PS5 instead.
Indeed...But I need to see more games supported by this tech!
Did you read the article?
Possibly and I believe people will pay for it. Remember Ground Zeroes? That was supposed to be a part of TPP.
Regardless it's amazing how they achieved a full 1080p on X1. This game is demanding.
I know am going to be ripped apart for this. But Konami is a gaming company and just like any company, they can no longer invest hundreds of million dollars for years. Silent Hill and MGS series are awesome but they don't have the massive appeal of say Call of Duty. Activision can expect costs to be recouped in a single week but not Konami.
Don't get me wrong but I desperately want to see what kind of Metal Gear game Konami can develop without Kojima. I am optimistic and want to give them a chance.
What if the tech advances so much in the next few years that SP games will also take advantage of it?
I know its not happening now but it's not out of the question. Really, when that happens, I am wondering whether anybody would need consoles. Stream Uncharted 7 or Gears 8 to any device in ultra graphics 0_0 I know I am getting ahead of myself but a man can dream!
If he is at TGA, then it could only be one of the following:
1. Story DLC i.e. Chapter 3 or Episode 51 incoming.
2. He is showing off a new IP.
3. A Final thanks to players.
He won't waste his time just by "being" there.
Something's up. Only a few days to go.
