4th quarter in companies is Q1 2017. Please get your facts right.
Did you read the article? It's not about consoles getting extinct.
Indeed it does. Here's hoping it becomes stable soon.
Indeed. Let's just hope both Sony and Microsoft can somehow find a way out of this, but given the technical hurdles, a consistent working solution may not be possible at this time.
Obviously. Metal Gear is too big a brand for Konami to not invest into it. But there is no doubt people will miss the trolling, teasing and hinting that comes along with a Kojima developed Metal Gear game.
Indeed, after the disappointing story telling in TPP, it's time he develops something new.
Yes, as Andy said in the interview. No one can imagine playing Street Fighter on an ipad. It's simply not going to happen.
I am pretty sure that the game won't time skip. I mean it would be amazing but it does not seem the plot is set that way.
The facial features of that old man and that of Sam are quite ridiculous same. Sam is older brother of Nathan and generally speaking, and not always, the first child look somewhat similar to their parents.
Again, this is an assumption and could be wrong.
The license belongs to Konami and given they are making a new Metal Gear Solid game, a MGS game by Kojima is only a dream now.
Honestly, its best he makes something new. The execution of story was a complete mess in MGS5, despite an amazing gameplay. There is no way anyone can defend how disappointingly the story was told in MGS5 despite having so much potential. SPOILER - despite having a body double -END SPOILER.
Perhaps a new talent could tell a new story...
Link please :P
I can't believe Sony is doing pretty poor marketing. The game is due in 2 months and there is no marketing at all.
Better fps during the game's more taxing sections, may be?
I hope we can run this game at 60fps but this is going to be very unlikely on consoles. 60fps is really a game changer in some situations, specially in The Division.
It will be amazing if Hayter comes on board :)
They also gave the go ahead for Metal Gear remake from 2014 (one in which Hayter was a part of). But then decided to back it off. I think Konami gave this dev the go ahead but I don't know. I think they will take it back if history is anything to go by.
Some heartbreaking reminders:

Although you are correct, the success of PS4 has the potential to make PS VR successful and in turn VR successful. Other companies obviously need to be successful, but the big push to VR will depend on how successful PS VR is. If Sony manages to sell 20-30 million units by the end of this console cycle, then Sony has played a big part in making VR somewhat mainstream.
Yes, indeed. But the game looks great.
Console versions are good. This is great given the open world nature of The Division.
The point here is not about "controllers", the point here is about performance.
