They have some heavy hitters coming, but myself... Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Getaway, Afrika, Naughtydogs next game are the big ones I'm looking out for. I could care less about most of those on the list.
MGS4 ?? I'm not all together sure I care anymore. FF13?? I never beat 7, 8, 9 or x or 11 or 12... So whatever. I liked FF9, tho... I just could never beat it, cause it was released around the same time suikoden 2 was, I believe. Or that's the game I beat instead... So Final ...
Graphically, it was good... but the thing that really killed it for me was (well, 2 things)
1 - Nariko. She just isn't interesting to me. I literally don't like her. Something about her. I liked her sister better, if you ask me. I love the crossbow parts more than playing as the lead.
2 - the use of Touch sense is annoying. It's unplayable. It makes the games best moves almost inaccessible. People say you have to practice it and get good, well... it shouldn't'...
I dunno... I just can never get into a game where you play the lead as a girl for some reason. Heavenly Sword really capped it off. I just didn't care about her at all. I thought she was a boring character for some reason. I dunno?? Lar Croft is another one... just boring. by and large, if they're not in a fighting game, I don't like female lead characters cause they're all so boring. Now, Chun-le, Cammy, Katana... Julie, those girls are alright.
It could've been jsut the states, but that just proves my whole argument here is validated. Xbox 360 is really only selling well in 1 territory, where PS3 might not be selling up to speed with it here in america, it's certainly showing it can more than make up for it in other territories.
I think as this year unfolds we'll have a better understanding of just where all 3 consoles are going. Can the wii sell games, outside their 1st party? I don't think so.. Can Sony stop sell...
I honestly believe people thought HD-dvd was gonna sale on namesake... When The Blu-ray company is basically disproving the name theory everyday in terms of sales. If a consumer is interested in a product, they're going o do research about it.
Blu-ray sounds nothing like Hd or DVd... However, consumers are quickly making the assumptions that it is the bar and standard for Hd content without drawing the comparisons in namesake.

Ps3's total worlwide sales for the week ending december 3rd went down at 500,000 ... with xbox 360 trailing. That's a shame.

no, I just think people want Blu-ray and that's that. It's been proven ,actually... 73% of all Hd-sales are blu-ray. Blu-ray movies... that speaks volumes, folks. It's nothing to do with the name... it's the content and movies available for the formats. Simple and clean.
Well, lets look at facts... Shall we? Ps3 launched in March of in Europe. They're already at half the install base of the xbox 360... which, by the way... launched over 2 years ago there. So, that's what I mean when I'm talking about "GROWTH" Snork... Have a nice time chewing on that.

I find it amusing the PS3 outsold the xbox 360 by some 50 thousand units. Huhaahhaah~ Also, the U.K numbers show one thing... Ps3 has growth... the xbox 360 doesn't. PS3 is closing the gap in U.K. guys...
Super cheesy, but a decent look back. It's amazing how far we've ocme in the last 12 years or better. WOW! The clothes too. That guy was a smack. I also thought it was pretty lame they all had banannas. So lame.
I've had my dual shock 3 for about 2 weeks now... I can tell you these things about it, honestly.
1 - It's heavy and that's not a good thing.
2 - the battery doesn't last near as long as the six does.
3 - the rumbloe patches haven't been distributed for near as many games as you think they have.
4 - Wait for the offical U.S. release and don't buy an import one.

I don't see nintendo, Sony and Microsoft getting along and agreeing on 1 console specs and settings, let alone actually getting it done. Then you'll have to add Apple in here in the next 5 years for sure. Apple will no doubt be coming into the console market at some point.
Right now, at my store, we're selling more PSP's than most anything. We're still sold out of DS from last week... but PSP's are really moving at my store. Ps3's and 360's had a good week, but not near as good as the PSP. It's Sony's big seller this year, bank it. Ps3 will do good, but not as good or even near as good if what we're experiencing is true for everywhere else.
Ps3 won't outsell the xbox 360? Well, it sure did a good job of it last month and just this week... 500,000 units sold just this week, as opposed to xbox 360's 480,000 Then add last months sales of the Ps3 at almost 700,000 please.. Ps3 has a good chance of beating the xbox 360 in sales this holiday season.
