what a pointless discussion, i'd rather ask:
does anybody know any good wii rpg games i should buy next. I plan on getting fallout, but are there any wii rpg games i missed out on besides zelda. Lots of offline gameplay is a must.
the ending in res2 i am hoping to see what they come up with next for the sequeal's storyline.
no spoilers some people havent played res2 yet
since i dont really want to argue about sales numbers i would rather pose this question.
Should i buy fallout 3 or dragon age: origins?
also is the loot/weapons/items variety and customization better on one game than the other?
Edit: thanks so far it looks like fallout 3 although i really wanted to try out the alternate endings/classes on dragon age, but fallout GOTY edition might be a better value.
i tried to post the same thing but it seems people just read headlines instead
Edit: it's dissapointing people even have to say read the article
needs to step up to the plate. they have only released ff on consoles. Really if they would just make more console games(ps3 too) maybe they wouldn't have so little real data to go on.
I am dissapointed in square as much as the next guy but the statement he made and the headline presented are two different things. Edit: Americans(headline), US REVIEWERS (Statement)
He made a fair statement, alot of turnbased rpg's are getting slagged for being old-hat when other genres such as Fps have changed very little.
I played ff #1 recently and was more impressed with the fighting mechanic of that game, than others in the series. There are hor...
maybe with the lego version the gameplay will be more balanced. Less grenade spamming at the beginning of a match/camping. They could even turn off the auto aiming.
I never got into the whole cod MW craze i like cod2 more tbh.
Might as well see how well a lego version plays.
wow,360 outsells the ps3 worldwide one week after ps3 outselling it for weeks and weeks and its a pointer as to how bad sony is doing?
this whole article is flamebait and should be disregarded. I wish n4g could start cleaning up a little in terms of blogs also.
on topic: ps2:dvd, ps3:blu-ray, this alone is worth it to sony. In terms adding a more powerful format that increases game content, disc (scratch resistant) reliability, and multiple languages, the gamers come out ahead as well.
Also just by sales projections alone its one of the fastest selling consoles. It may be in 3rd place bu...
you need an ip ban, with free shipping!
the phrase jumped the shark comes to mind, the moment they went 3d it was all over for them.
Hopefully this is a good game though, they have been coasting on their name for quite awhile.
hopefully the hours i spent folding@home helped in some way. I feel that the next set of consoles should have more functions which give back. Sony did a pretty good job of it but i hope Nintendo/Msoft follow suit. And Sony continues it with the ps4.
Folding@home and apps like it should be there.
As well as gaming friendly options like making your console a dedicated server while your off of it to help gamers play a more stable game. (like some sony games ...
While they may have expaned the market, casuals have just played hell with business dealings of the entire industry. The dissapointing thing is causuals will not feel the loss, they are just as happy playing some web broser games, or games on their phones and ignoring consoles/pc for a while. Or whatever gaming craze strikes their fancy.
The hardcore once again prove the reason why they have been catered to for so long, they buy their games/console/pc consistantly, with eas...
resistance 1 the first game on the ps3 was not underwhelming.
every exclusive game announced for the kinect is on the other hand, at this point in time.
i'm so tired of all the fps games now. Don't get me wrong, i like to play a fps as much as the next guy. It's just gotten to the point i only look for an original game coming out like vanquish. At the same time though, i know they are just realizing the potential of first person view.
Example: Mirrors Edge. We need more games that experiment in a first person view but dont have a gun sticking out of the screen 24/7. (holding a gun 24/7)
Oblivi...
sniping in confrontation was a mixed bag. There were moments when you can kill maybe two to three people at once, then there are moments when you just can't use it properly in the situation once the bottleneck moment has passed.
Sniping is good for the no respawn matches. But becomes totally unbalanced in the ones in which you do respawn because of campers.
of course they want it that way, its easier to code then. putting in a deep game mechanic takes time to think it out. Time a developer doesn't seem to have these days.
I can tell you right now I will be cautious of Levine's next game now. Explains alot actually.
nevermind
used to be SE would do their own thing. Everyone would copy off of Final Fantasy and what they released. Now they're so clueless they can't help but copy now.
this only shows how important the physical medium is. Sure half are downloads but these are pc gamers we're talking about, they are supposedly the most technical saavy bunch and still half of them use physical media.
Although if i had a good rig and connection i'd get steam.
