i would like a separate section called blogs. that way all the blog articles would get put in there.
also the person spamming the site for clothes and websites needs to be ip banned.
as if there was any doubt.
i was not trying to say MW is the new standard. I'm just saying the gameplay mechanics were revolutionary for their time, and it is no longer the case today.
So i find it hard to be excited with a remake because the team behind will not be as good and make a revolutionary well playing game for today's standards it's set to fail imo.
I consider mario and uncharted in two very different genres. its like comparing a disney/pixar movie which are very good to watch and well crafted to an action adventure with amazing effects we've never seen before.
they are both good movie/genres, but this whole discussion revolves around goty which has only been handed to not only great games with awesome gameplay. But games which are pushing the technical level or are at least around it. Which by your own admission M...
Mass Effect 2 is a great game, the only problem i have besides some missing rpg elements, is the planet scanning.
A few weeks ago I was about to replay the game for the third time, but the scanning stopped me dead in my tracks. I just can't go through it again, no matter how much i want to get those different save files for the third installment.
The Uncharted series on the other hand does not have something like that preventing my enjoyment. Replayin...
but i think we've moved on from the n64 days of goldeneye, to me the ship has sailed.
if other people still want to get it, that is fine too.
most of the time i'm waiting to hear jansen's lines more than any of the other character's.
i started playing ff1 dawn of souls on gba and realized how awesome the first game really was.
then i went out and bought lost odyssey. aside from the over the top emotional scenes when you meet the kids (my opinion, should have been a little toned down.) its pretty much more ff than ff 13.
fallout 3 $20 version, or goty edition for $60 and hours upon hours of playtime
lost odyssey 12.99 during the super saving thing at gamestop.
i can't help it sometimes, other people posting so much FUD made me create an account and argue.
as for the move/kinect, i have always disproved of motion controls. I am not buying move/kinect but observing the kinects lack of games and spotty input problems makes me compelled once again to post on it.
I'll probably buy a motion control device when it is far more andvanced instead of nothing more than pseye/laser pointer technology.
Media:forget about the gameplay issues let's just post articles on starkiller being in the game. Hopefully you've forgotten how we hyped the first one and it was junk too.
the gameplay mechanics have serious issues and need to be addressed before anyone should be getting excited over the characters in the game.
if you play the official ranked games those are dedicated servers.
your thinking of the non-ranked servers which are hosted.
not to mention on Res 1 a person who creates a dedicated server can opt to not play the game having their ps3 become a dedicated server
so you are wrong.
Also the log-in servers on warhawk aren't dedicated either? your so full of it. you dont know what your talking about.
actually if you read the blurb under the title it says 31.7 not 42, the reason why i decided to correct you is it fits easily with the .7 on the 38.7 giving a nice easy to understand 3 million lead against ps3.
what i see is a very small gap. i expect by 2011 they'll pretty much be even
even if something seems off i would rather send a message to game companies that i still want great long single player games and not just multiplayer games with tacked on short campaigns.
microsoft is after the casual world. I just wish gaming mags and sites would treat it as it deserves to be, unmentioned and ignored/ridiculed as a gaming peripheral.
its about as useful as a balance board for the wii. except some balance board games are actually more "hardcore".
too bad those animals dont fight each other online pokemon style.
@da shredder
i said people never use home on purpose, how could something nobody ever uses as stated by the haters create a constant revenue stream which has three times its original ammount?
sony made millions off of home in the first few months in profit, the fact that sales have tripled is a great sign.
People may never use home but if it keeps improving and provides a revenue stream which can be used to offset other costs such as online dedicated servers then its only a win win for a free product any ps3 owner can use.
pointless discussion, we get it it's 150, the moves if you buy four of them is more and blah blah blah different combinations.
better topic:
does anyone else plan on buying vanquish?
there are two views,
1. Judge it by what it has been proven to do and shown: There currently no good games to purchase besides a somewhat decent looking dance game. There has been lag issues and scripted events trying to portray something it is not capable of currently.
2. Wait and see:
You can wait for it to launch and decide for yourself. Over time the games, controls and software may improve and become worthy of a purchase.
