Good for them for simplifying the absolute mess of their current system. Too bad they had to be so greedy and release as an Epic store exclusive. Now your game is worth $10 max.
While you're simplifying things, fix the horrible menu and nav system. Tried to play the demo but couldn't figure out how to even start a VR mission since every single button brings up a DLC purchase screen. Jfc.
Insanely expensive memory was the main reason but people overlook the second biggest mistake: Sony was so concerned of the Vita cannibalizing sales from their main console, they made sure it didn't have HDMI out- something even the PSP Go could do.
Had they not been so damned scared and greedy the Vita might have been the Switch.
Not sure when it happened but don't see Nintendo as well meaning gaming craftsman anymore. Now they just seem like greedy old men fleecing parents for as much as they can get away with while hiding behind cute and iconic characters.
Because of muscle memory your left thumb wants to reach down for the d-pad. Takes a few days to reach left automatically but the placement is good. It's just you're not use to it at first.
Only bought one Switch game this year, Bayonetta 3, and it's probably the last.
They aren't watching or even aware of anything but counting money stacks. Even if somehow one of their executives glanced at a gaming blog they wouldn't care in the slightest. As long as the $ keeps rolling it they don't see, hear or care about anything else.
It's like how Game Stop used to be popular for buying and selling used games but then became greedy af so no one shopped there anymore except mothers who didn't know any better. Now only clueless mothers buy Switch but since Nintendo still see's the money rolling in they don't notice or care.
Don't envy anyone competing with the Steam Deck.
Love the controller, my favorite of all controllers. However $70 games relegates the PS5 to rare exceptional exclusives and upscaled PS4 titles.
He sounds so friendly and nice here but would love to be a fly on the wall while they were making this decision.
They were too greedy then and even greedier now.
Good. EA decided they want to own all racing games but are no a match for a sim racing. Can you imagine, pay to win, micro tx, awards for wrecking other drivers. Hope someone picks up the team and continues work.
Still use it for controlling my living room pc. Never liked it for games. One neat thing is the scroll-wheel function by dragging your finger around the perimeter of the left circlepad - clockwise for down, counter-clockwise for up.
As someone who doesn't own Hitman 3 yet, is Freelance Mode free or DLC?
Looks like many other games like Sound Boxing and Box VR. Hopefully there's a demo.
Rooting for them!
Seems like you're trolling but can't quite tell. Switch Pro doesn't even have analog triggers so it's not even in the running. Also please try Dualsense and you'll sing a different tune. Though if you're trolling than good job, got me haha.
A Ubisoft subscription is like miles of crap as far as they eye can see.
Great list! I love Sekiro's combat/parry system and will give Yakuza a try. I'd also add:
Bayonetta
Doom/Doom Eternal
Nex Machina
Dishonored/Dishonored 2
Rage/Rage 2
Returnal
Spiderman
Just starting these but showing lots of promise:
Ghostrunner
Ruiner
Severed Steel
Waiting for Ragnarök to come to PC so for for me it's Bayonetta 3 all the way. Incredible game with so many weapons and upgrades to choose from will be playing for many years. Hopefully on better hardware sooner rather than later!
