If the emphasis is on story and lore, then linearity is not necessarily a bad thing.
Avoid death! Hit the triangle! Nah, but seriously, I hope the game is good, as it is on my purchase list.
...and they will turn upon their own like jackals.
You mean he's "probably" right, lol!
Hahahahaha, in response to this.
Alright, who from N4G wrote this article?
To be fair, one or two more announcements from each side would have been nice, like Crimson Skies, Banjo, Gears, God of War, TLG, and Crash.
Not a JRPG fan, but was shocked at the genre's omission. They should have cut about 30 minutes off their show. 5/10.
Easily MS. Sony's had me bored to tears. There were 2 times when 5 caught myself dozing during Sony's conference.
Most games had an answer on each side:
Spark - LBP3
UC4 - Halo 5
Order - Fable (interest level, not content)
Scale bound - Bloodborne
Drive Club - Forza Horizon 2
But MS also had Sunset Overdrive and Crackdown 3.
Sony had a bad presentation pace-wise.
Clearly an MS win.
This game looks sick. This kid is no COD-only Xbox dudebro. I play everything! (Except JRPG, RTS, and MOBA, lol.)
^^^this, but no worries, it is pre-alpha.
Can we just call it the Green Box?
I remember how so many people were saying Crackdown was a throw - away game for everyone wanting the Halo beta, and it turned out to be such a great game on its own.
Could have done without the "zombies" in Crackdown 2, tho.
Tiled resources will come eventually.
I'm gonna die laughing if this finally comes out and is of the same quality as another near - vaporware title, Duke Nuke Forever.
^^^Do some research. Don Mattrick left. Phil Spencer is running the show, and there's a reason he's all about games, since he's a former dev himself, and previously was running MGS. His vision for Xbox is much more in line with the core gamer, and the turn around has been swift and astonishing.
Nope.
It has a red dead-y sound to it.
^^^party pooper.
I'll file this under DUHHHHH!!!
