those games still have a single player mode, what I meant is that multiplayer aspect of the game would die by shutting off the server, let's assume that COD4 is multiplayer only game, you can't play the game 20 years from now.

I believe that PSV will do great especially in Japan following the success of its predecessor, and the inclusion of rear touch pad was a smart move from sony in order to make PSV experience different than the competition and the PS3.
I think PSV would gain worldwide acceptance among gamers for being the first handheld to offer real online capabilities.

Wifi wasn't a huge feature on the PSP, PSP browser sucks,the device has no online capability whatsoever, Sony released this model as an affordable option for casuals not hardcore gamers, also don't forget that other PSP models are still being produced. So why are you complaining ?
I don't want to bring this up but no one complained about MS offering very basic models of 360 like no wifi no harddrive no hdmi.
They are reviewed on different scales, 6/10 psp games = 9/10 ios.

the time PS3 was $600, Xbox 360 was $500, and you know which one is better Value for the money especially when you look at early xbox models no wifi, no hdmi, no hard desk.
the PS3 had a BD, in 2006 BD player alone cost 700-400 dollars.
pricing PS3 @600 was LOGICAL at the time.
there is a point that everyone forget, PS3 is the reason Sony won the format war, and that more important to sony than selling a billion PS3 units.
this is a sign that handhelds industry is still healthy, really glad for nintendo.
