This is interesting, this is literally the 3rd title published by Focus Entertainment that is struggling quite a bit on the PS5. Either their engine is more suited for the Series X or they’re not optimizing the PS5 versions at all.
And that as well.
That’s unfortunate & a shame. In any case we all know this is due to the Series S hardware.
I’m truly glad that Bethesda is releasing their games on PS & soon to be Nintendo consoles in future. For example, the Indiana Jones & Blade franchises are major IPs & there’s no way those IPs can recoup their money back by releasing on Gamepass, not to mentioned that Series X/S are worst selling console out of the big 3.
I know the Xbox fanboys are going to be furious with this decision, but this is the best decision that MS can make for the Xbox.
It’s pretty hard to believe anything this particular CEO has to say.
Same here, third party devs have been pushing out way more exclusives on PS5 than Sony.
It’s really looking like we might not see these new projects from these studios until next year or maybe (a big maybe) PS6.
Sony really needs a showcase dedicated to what’s only coming out the on PS5. They need to fall back a little on what’s coming out on the PC & now even the Switch. I know that’s more of a Lego project than a traditional Sony one, but still.
I did read the article & my comment was referring to this statement:
“ the rumored LEGO Horizon Adventures will be released day one on both PS5 and PC. It will therefore not be a staggered release like the single-player first-party PlayStation titles.”
If you read the article, you would’ve known that.
Here we go again, with another foolish article, trying to allude that Sony lied about their first party titles coming day and date on PC. I guess this person doesn’t realize that Sony doesn’t own “The Lego Group” & the TLG doesn’t own the Horizon IP.
It’s crystal clear that’s it’s a collaboration between Sony & TLG, hence why it’s coming day & date on PC.
Even if he does resign, it’s not going to matter. Him & his team has made so many bad decisions over the past 10 years, that the damage done to the Xbox division is irreparable.
This is unfortunate & I really do feel for all of the ppl that just got laid off because of the bad decisions execs like Phil made.
We can skip all of this “he’s a nice guy & a gamer” BS. None of that matters when someone lost their job that they needed to provide the...
This would’ve been a perfect excuse to double dip, if the trophies started from the beginning. But it looks like if you already platted the PS5 version, it’s just going to carry over to the PC version.
Not to mention, the game is running at a locked 30fps on the Series X, according to Eurogamer.
To save you guys a click, the game will be released as an early access title on the PC on the 18th of this month, just like the devs already stated.
Unfortunately this is just another example of poor game journalism, if you can even call it that.
There’s no debate on this particular matter. His decision making as head of the Xbox division has killed the system.
The PS2 had a phenomenal library of games for every genre. It’s unfortunate we’re never going to witness something like that again.
This is why I switched backed to buying physical. These companies are getting out of hand with their decision making.
This is an irredeemably stupid decision on Blizzard’s part & I hope they pay for it severely.
Good point lol
According to a certain fanbase, sales doesn’t matter anymore nowadays……
Edge being Edge per usual.
Yea, that’s cool & all, but what about the Xbox division’s net income? Revenue is not the whole picture.
I see a lot guys on Twitter saying they’re going to build a PC now. Sooooo…..they’re willing to pay way more?
