Is this one, in terms of looking alike that is

He didn't get his facts completely right. Yes the Euphoria engine is physics and animation with behavioral A.I. but he kept saying it was in GTA4 and Red Dead Redemption. Not that it isn't true but if I recall Euphoria was used in GTA4 then the big physics game Star Wars: Force Unleashed. Remember the demos with the A.I. grabbing onto the wood planks or grabbing on to each other to save their life. It was also demoed in the rumored Indiana Jones game. But yea, he basically has his fac...
That's because everyone is Jaffes bitch. He could care less about what people think of him. All I know is that I wouldn't cross him. He scares the crap outta me but I totally respect the guy for his ingenious work and creativity. If I were Pachter I would be sleeping with one eye open...
Erm if I recall correctly pushing Blu-ray is pushing games considering PS3 games are on blu-ray discs. However for MS to push HD DVD and confirming that no games will be made on them was kind of dumb and also cost them the format war. That's just my opinion of course.
Madden, been the same since 2006.
Backbreaker: New IP, built solely on a new physics engine (euphoria), and looks like an NFL blitz but even more fun with some realism. Well, im in.
Two things I wanted to mention. If you have never built a PC and aren't a gamer, simply buy a pre-built one because you won't save a whole lot of money getting the cheap stuff. If you are a gamer and never built a PC, learn. It's really not that hard. Check out Howstuffworks.com to learn about different parts as well as wikipedia. Also, the motherboard manual is what you read to find out where every part goes and it's really easy. The most difficult thing is connecting everything to the PSU (...
How the hell do you forget to mention, become a video game tester. That's where a lot of people start. And when I say tester I don't mean paying to play games, I mean getting paid to play/debug games. So learn a little programming and your set.
I love my Iphone but the no flash thing is still upsetting.
As for the Ipad replacing notebooks...in what way? My laptop is 500gb HD. Plus has ports to hook up to a monitor, and something people call a CD/DVD drive. So you can have your 32gb of movies and music combined, but I like an actual keyboard, and a cd/dvd drive to watch movies. Plus I don't feel like spending $500 on something that is just a big Ipod touch. I will pass.
I guess you didn't notice that is the LE (Limited Edition) retailing for $50 whereas the link to the plain on BFBC2 game non LE is $20...

For comparison purposes...

It sounds damn good/close to that.
He also did it with the Lancer Evo 7.

And another comparison for that to its real life counterpart.

No one mentioned that there is a motorcycle in the concept art. If I recall motorcycles have never been in a NFS game so that could be interesting.
I will take a COD 7 (even though I have chosen to skip MW2) if they build a new engine with new graphics, physics, and animations. Some larger issues I have with COD is most everything they listed except "rewarding campers". I think camping is a strategy and truth be told if you have a sniper class, camping is not only expected but practically required. Now if someone is camping with the M249 with 100 bullets per round and just spraying and praying, well there shouldn't be any award...
I see an improvement in lighting, texturing, and overall polycount on the models and environments. Looking very good and looks like they improved on everything graphical.
But Sony's marketing all of a sudden decided to get their act together with these "It only does everything" commercials and damn they are good. We can all admit Sony in the past has had marketing/advertising issues but it seems like someone finally let them know and they pulled a total 180 and I think have the best commercials for games nowadays. I mean, whenever I see a commercial that starts off with some guy saying "Dear Playstation" I am inclined to listen.
I don't have a doubt that this game will kick some serious ass but is anyone else getting tired of seeing games get a perfect 10? I mean it's like ratings don't mean much anymore.
I don't really celebrate V-day considering I am single right now. In that case I am celebrating S.A.D. (Singles Awareness Day) in which I simply hang out with friends, guy and girls alike and enjoy myself just fine with no strings attached or any expectations.
On topic: This article is kind of funny and insightful. Not a great read, but good info if you want to get a game-related gift for your significant other.
From a marketing/advertising stand point why things are ever "region exclusive". I admit I don't know much about advertising/marketing but basic logic says that this kind of thing worldwide would do better in sales than in just one region (in this case Australia of all places).
If someone knows anything about marketing/advertising and why they might do this please explain to me as I am curious to know.
For those who may not know...this is still following a path of Greek Mythology.

Titans vs. Gods happened for 10 years in fact. It was gruesome and big. I love Greek Mythology and suggest anyone who has the chance to, to take a class on it. I did back in college and it was awesome. Kratos is kind of a Hercules like figure considering he has Demi-god traits even though he...
You are right. Microsoft is looking to hit the wider general audience with this Natal/Kinect idea but by doing so they are trying to over hype it when they should be hyping up their big AAA titles like Halo Reach, Alan Wake, Gears of War 3, Crackdown 2, and as you pointed out, just show explosions, craziness and mayhem from those games. Show Natal/Kinect on the show floor, but leave it out of premieres and your press conference.
You know MS is going to have a big chunk of ha...
