You do realize that this articles state the NEXT generation might be the last. If you know anything about technology and where we are heading, this is definitely a possibility! There will always be purists, but they can't support a generation of consoles if the masses adopt streaming.
Of course! The first Christmas is usually a sell out scenario for these consoles.

There are 2 reasons for me. I like the feel of the controller better, especially the Elite. Also, I have an Xbox X, so I get the best online experience with the best graphics for all 3rd party games which makes up 95% of gaming.

Google is trying to work into gaming with Stadia. Even though it's a failure right now, it's a start! That's a scary thing just knowing it could improve and become something big.
Microsoft and Sony both need to prepare for the next 10 years of gaming. I hate to say it, but if 5G home internet becomes a thing with 10gb down and 1gb up with 5 - 10ms latency, then streaming might actually become the future...

RDR2 doesn't lend itself to online as much as GTA. Without zombie mode, it's a giant open barren world. Travel is slow and the world is huge. You don't see people as often as you think you would. It happens, just not as often.
