Origins was included in legends... I don't think you thought this one out..
@jesus
True, someone somewhere liked The Order...
Exactly. So moving it fast doesn't matter if the GPU can't process it fast enough
So basically better to have a bigger gpu... Interesting
It's hard to beat Rayman Legends. That game was large and amazing. Maybe an HDR sequel could be a beautiful thing, but it would need a lot of levels
I'd love for him to return to Gears rather than trying to reinvent a new Gears
I'll explain it to you Chaos since you didn't get it...
You see, over saturation is one part of it. When you have a lot of low quality products out there representing your brand, not all people can differentiate what is actually part of your actual catalog. You'd think that the average person can understand, but the average person is actually quite stupid.
Tarnishing a brand is another problem. As bad games are made using the IP, it starts to ...
Until something gets too popular... Not sure where this imaginary white list is, but every developer will protect against loss of sales
I think this will be shut down soon
Oh good God
If this was Microsoft, and the fix was "just got the X button", the fanboys would be getting their pitch forks saying "see, and Microsoft wanted an all digital world!".
It's amazing how Sony's mistakes are cute little accidents and Microsoft's little accidents are catastrophic game changing events...
You guys need to learn the difference between a tech demo and a gameplay demo.
Anyway like I said, it looks great and I imagine looks even better with more power behind it.
I hope we see games best this caliber but hopefully 4k... 1440p 30fps isn't going to cut it
@SierraGuy and the rest
Updates and patches make this irrelevant. Game code is often downloaded to use the cheaper smaller discs. Disc based gaming is almost dead.
@IRetrouk
Nope, it's still a graphic demo because it was using an engine with incredibly simple implementation. No actual gameplay other than player movement was implemented. AI, character models, UI, hit detection etc will take away available resources. Please learn how engines work.
Not gameplay, per se. But a graphics demo. Try not to confuse the two.
Definitely did look pretty, I wonder what it will look like once all physics and gameplay engines are implemented, along with NPCs and enemies
I'm failing to see why slow Blu-ray being standard has anything to do with this article?
I expect Lockhart to replace X1X... So maybe $400. That would explain all the sales of X1X...
I expect Lockhart to be a 1080p Next Gen system and X1X kind of loses its place being a 4k last gen system. But I guess the two could both sell for $199 and $249...
@gaming4life1981
Bad choice on that Q80t... It's the equivalent of last year's Q70. Should have just gotten last year's Q90R. 75" was on sale for 2750!
At least they are TAKING steps... PS5 hasn't misstepped because they are standing still
@S2Killinit
So if the SSD being a little faster is an edge, you have to consider the hardware RT in Series X also being a huge edge that adds the equivalent of 10 t flops of ray tracing power
