The big difference is the PS5 reveal only showed a few exclusives and many multi platform games that were coming to Xbox.
Xbox was all exclusives...
@otterx
They literally showcased 3 exclusive RPGs... I think if RPGs are your thing this is the year for Xbox
Unfortunately N4G itself is a pro Sony site and it only seems to step in when someone defends Xbox and I can't help but notice all the examples in the post reference things said negatively about Sony. So suddenly, we want to remind people that we won't tolerate this behavior..... When it's against Sony.
I've been banned 6 times for defending Xbox or simply saying just buy both systems... It's absurd... All Consoles Matter!
#AllConsoles...
We've been in the power narrative since the launch of PS4 and XOne. Sony fans just tried changing it once the X and Pro came out since they lost the power advantage and cost value advantage.
That being said, you can like and choose whatever system you want. You don't have to knock the more powerful one just because you prefer Sony. I buy both, because I'm a gamer who wants the raw power to showcase my TV, and I want some Sony exclusives.
Best ...
Since when do they NOT give you advance notice? This isn't new...
And helps with the chip failure of the series X. Any chip with less than the efficient number of cores can have extras turned off and become the chip for the series s
@sinspirit
It's not ray tracing, it's a cheaper alternative
@CBaoth
It's not ready tracing, it's a ray traced lighting lighting alternative. Please don't confuse the two.
Also XSX has dedicated ray tracing hardware. It's very doable this coming generation on that box
@RazzerRedux
I can see the difference between 4k and 1440p on my 82" tv. I sit about 6 feet away and can see the difference... Also, if a competing console decides to use the same reason as PS5 it could actually outperform it and have higher poly counts. So the point is it's a weaker system
Would be nice if it could do it at 4k...
Exactly... Let's all stop bickering like children and wait and see what these things can do
Settle down... Let's wait and see what the difference in resolution is between the two. I'm guessing 12phz is the feature to push this game and get publicity, but the resolution of each game will be what matters. My TV can only do 1440p 120hz (Q90R 75" QLED) so honestly I'm not expecting much. Plus I'm honestly not interested in 120hz. I can be happy with 60fps with some overhead. So steady 70 capped at 60 is perfect...
4k 60 with RT!? But my Sony friends said that isn't possible...
PlayStation didn't stop though...
@1victor they already said both versions have identical hardware. Same storage.
All digital will be 50 chapter, or 100 if they subsidize.
400 and 500 or 450 and 500... Xbox coming in at 500 and 250 or 400 and 200
You think the series X is the ugliest? The PS5 looks like it flipped up its collar like back in the 70s. It's gigantic and stands out like a sore thumb. I'll admit the Series X is boring looking, but boring is better that the monstrosity the PS5 is.
Hopefully it runs cool lemongrass to run from an adjacent closet
Or the PS3 failure rate, or the PS4 jet engine.
But now I have to have a giant obelisk standing next to my entertainment center
Do I need to play the first one to enjoy the sequel? I jumped into God of War without playing the others, can I do it with this one also?
Compared to the 360 show which was their best gen, this was way better
