Unfortunately I agree. Halo and Gears feel like shells of their former selves. And to think, Bungie went on to make the exact same game but open world RPG style...

Gamepass has crazy value now! For slightly over $100 a year, you get Call of Duty included, plus all these other great first part titles, ass well as EA games, and many other 3rd party games

They are trying to make it look like a casual drop, while trying to make it look like it outshines Starfield.
Large publishers have to rely on their money makers. They can make a few stinkers, but the risk of brand degradation and the financial loss that can come with it means they have to keep banking on their cash cows.
Bobby Kotick is leaving at the end of the year. Microsoft is giving him a few months, that's all.

@shiro you can see on Xbox how many hours someone put in. Anyway, it's not bullshit. I definitely have issues with the game, like needing 60fps, or at least 40fps. But it has a lot to do and the story was amazing the way they integrated NG+

Im 140 hours in myself according to XBOX. I definitely have more interest in the game, and already feel I got my GamePass value out of the game.
