Quantum Break is no where near being the same game as this. I've heard Sam Lake say repeatably that there's no QTE's at all in the gameplay. He said the gameplay is a cross between Alan Wake meets Max Payne. The only thing that concerns me with that game AT ALL is the single player length and how the show interacts with the game.
Unfortunately they're not even working on a Perfect Dark game. Ken Loebb confirmed that on a podcast a couple of months ago. I'd love to see a rebooted, re imagined version of Joanna dark. Similar to the way Tomb Raider was rebooted.
This game is getting destroyed man. I feel bad for the developer some what. This is a pretty big game with the way it's marketed and it's getting obliterated. I told people a year ago when I saw the gameplay unveil to take charge and give the devs constructive criticsm, but no one listened and told me I was a fanboy for saying there's too many QTE's and the gameplay looked sluggish. Hope you enjoy the game kids.
Wow the delusion is hysterical. The gamee has a 65 Metacritic. Let that seep in when the embargo just lifted.
It's a shame Polygon gets a bad rap on the internet. A lot of their reviews are well written, realistically scored, and their opinions are always well reasoned whether I don't agree with them or not. They rarely ever give games over a 7.5, so this game must at the very least interesting.
I like Bethesda, but Rockstar are kings at building open worlds with deep detail. I don't think they need to learn anything from fallout.
Hopefully they improve the gameplay. One of the things that gets annoying is that all players swing like each other, all players field like each other, and the game is not really a true baseball sim anymore. Bad defensive players don't really have bad defense in MLB the show. In 2k if you're bad at hitting three pointers in real life you never hit three pointers in the game. It's still the only option for now and the games are usually good, but the gameplay is no longer sim and ha...
Lol this guy just trolled the entire comment section and you guys are writing day one under the article. Lol he literally just wrote a bunch of satirical answers in one sentence form 188 times.
The Last Guardian is one of the strangest IP's I've ever seen. The fact that Sony told Studio Japan to work on releasing the puppeteer, rain, and Knack over the last guardian was strange. Add in the fact that Team Ico has been developing this for almost a decade and we haven't seen concept art or anything since that E3 reveal just makes me wonder what's going on with the IP. I heard years ago that journalists that consisted of Ryan Clements, A journalist from kotaku, and a fe...
Sounds like another masterpiece from Treyarch.
These articles defending the Order is getting old now. If you can't respect someones legit criticism on the games length then shut up and buy the game. Seriously I can't remember another game where people went out of their way to defend it this much. The game is 5.5 hours long INCLUDING cutscenes. If you can't even understand why people are questioning that then you're simply either biased, refuse to admit the game is flawed, or simpy do not care about other gamers opinions. ...
I like Phil, but one of the biggest things that needs to be addressed on the XBO is the download times. I love the box, but those times are excruciatingly long. Idk if they can patch the problem or if the download times are a hardware or my internet problem. I prefer to download my games from the xbox store before I like being to just tell my kinect what game to play and snap in and out of different games.
Here's the problem with the game length in this game compared to the other three games, dude. 1. All of those games had multiplayer. 2. The Order has unskippable cutscenes that take up a good chunk of the gameplay. You're literally only playing a couple of hours of gameplay and even then the QTE's are in abundance, so how much of that time are you legit playing a third person shooter? And 3. All of those games, for their time, were elite AAA titles. You're talking about possib...
It gets a lot of excitement because it's a spiritual successor to SOTC one of the greatest games ever created and team ico is a talented team. But, yeah, the excitement for me is starting to cool down now. By the time this thing comes out a lot of the mechanics they teased has been done this last generation and now this one. Ueda is probably one of the top 5 devs working in gaming so I still have confidence in him.
It's so funny how many people try so damn hard to defend a game that looks this mediorce. The same accounts on here that defend this game were the same accounts last week absolutely destroying evolve for lack of content, same accounts destroying Titanfall for featuring no single player, and the same accounts destroying Watchdogs and Destiny for various reasons.
Lets be honest here, the game that I saw in the 5 hour walkthrough did not look good. Too many unskippable cutsc...
Lol best cover system? Dude I've seen vids of your game where your character's entire body is sticking out of cover. I've heard of being confident in your game, but this guy is just talking rubbish.
Dude there's video proof with a guy playing through all of the cutscenes and playing a slow pace that the campaign takes 5 hours long man. Cut the crap and come to reality. It maybe can take 8 hours tops on a harder difficulty, but no way anyone took 15 hours to beat this campaign. After what I watched I think the dude in the vid could've beat it in 4 hours if he wanted and if cutscenes were able to be skipped possibly 3.5.
Game looks good and I'd probably play the hell out of this game when I was 18 and in college. I just don't have the time or patience to put into a 100 hour RPG story.
Completely off topic, but I wonder how much MS would have to pay EA or Disney for the rights to publish another KOTOR game. Damn those games used to be so good on the OG xbox.
People actually read the bloody article. He's actually calling out sites like Dual shockers who posted 50 articles leading up to the release of the game stating their bias and then dropped an 85 out of 100 on a game that has a general bad consensus. He's not sticking up for the game whatsoever.
