If they play their cards right I can see Halo 5 being the first console exclusive of this generation selling 5 million copies or more. That's a big if. I think either that game or Uncharted will be the first games to do it.
Idk how this announcement hinders exclusives in any way. I don't get your point. Around June and August is where you'r going to get the bulk of the exclusive news.
All of these indies should go to as many platforms as possible. I never understood how it made business sense to release console exclusive indie games. It's flat out retarded. I don't even get the appeal of even making the games timed exclusive at all to be honest. Who cares about No Man's Sky or Elite Dangerous that much to the point that they're exclusive?
Neither of these games are going to do a million on the platform so what's the point? It's sha...
I can't really justify spending 60 bucks on online only multiplayer games or single player only games. It just doesn't make economic sense for me anymore. My Xbox One has a decent backlog and there's too many good games coming out this year for me to just waste on a game like Evolve. Decent concept, has good visuals and gameplay, but the content is not there for me to take 60 bucks out and pay for it. Titanfall is really the only game in which I was hooked so much in the gameplay...
This looks terrible. A lot of these indie games look the same. I get that they have limited money, but damn none of these ever look unique. Either they take the highly pretentious route or they make the same twin stick shooter shtick. I miss the old school XBL arcade days where you'd get sick indies like Geometry wars, Braid, Limbo, and Shadow Run and they all were unique and had their own look.
Where's the bloody live stream?????????
Misterx was laughed at when he made these predictions. I guess Sony fanboys are eating crow.
Great I'll buy this instead of that other crap game coming out in september. Thanks Avalanche.
Great more boring stealth games coming to market.
He's a grown man he doesn't " need" to do anything. As long as he's not threatening anyone or insulting anyones sexuality, religion, or way of life then I don't see what's wrong with him doing what he wants on his private twitter.
I wonder if this will be the game Quantic Dream actually makes a video game or are they just going to make another QTE movie filled with ridiculous poorly written supernatural plot points and plot holes.
Who said it's an national crisis? The game is crap and it's getting reviewed as such. I doubt these guys lose sleep over this.
Out of all of these games I'll be owning Hotline Miami 2 for my vita, Battlefield hardline cause for my xbox one and ori and the blind forest. Otherwise a pretty uneventful month. If my gf picks up Bloodbourne for her PS4 I'll playthrough some of it for shits and giggles
I agree that in terms of outside of campaign stuff San Andreas is the best open world game of all time. Just so many activities and so many open spaces. But GTA V is a superior game when it comes to campaign, character development, graphics, and voice acting. GTA V just trumps San Andreas in the campaign so much that it kinda offsets the superior side missions and activities San Andreas has over it. Also it's unfair to compare the way the vehicles feel now compared to back then, but man...
I've never experience lag or the user interface being slow on my xbox one. I don't know where that comes from. The interface is perfect for me. The only thing that I'd want right now is faster install times and custom background music.
The Order has a 65 metacritic from critics and a 68 from users. The game is a POS.
Agent, unlike the Last Guardian which I believe will release in the next year and a half, will never be released. That game was announced back when third party exclusives were the norm. People forget how common they were back 5 or 6 years ago. Take Two is publicly traded and pretty much wants the most money possible. I don't see them ever approving an expensive open world game like that on one platform. I just don't see a publisher and dev of that caliber making an exclusive any time...
That's a pretty good point, but I doubt they put this in the vault until next year. Plus the game is 50 bucks with the EA Access discount. I'll play through some of the campaign and the multiplayer and see if I like it and then make my decision.
Best looking game I've seen this gen.
Only people that hate the service are Sony fanboys.
