The amount of exclusives the PS3 has compared to the PS2 is really pathetic. I have to ask, is a measly few more first party games really something to boast about? After all, the 360 has a larger overall library of games than the PS3 because of it's year head start.

As someone that will only be buying an XB1 I have to admit, that was funny.
The launch PS3 was $200 more than the XB1 is currently, $300 if you lived in Canada! It didn't stop the PS3 did it? Stop you're BS.
The XB1 is loaded with cool features, it has the games and will have superior online. Its a better all around package than the PS4 and worth the extra $100. A few more pixels and a couple more frames on the PS4 really isn't a big deal in comparison to what we get with the XB1.

Kinect will always be mandatory with the XB1 because the whole system is built around its features. So selling an XB1 without Kinect would be like selling a game console without a controller. Plus, MS wants it to become standard that developers incorporate hand gestures and voice commands into their games. This is why a Kinectless XB1 will never happen.

True, the PS4 has the advantage of price and a better GPU but it also has less functionality than the XB1. XBL will also continue it's online superiority with the addition of the Azure cloud and the significant advantages it will provide with multiplayer games.

The new Kinect uses 1080p camera, processes 2 gigabits of data per second to read its environment, can see in the dark with it's IR sensor, able to track up to 6 skeletons at once. It can also detect a player's heart rate, facial expression, 25 individual joints (even thumbs) and the precise rotation of such joints, the weight put on each limb, and the speed of your movements, and track gestures performed with a standard controller.
