If MS comes out with a Kinectless sku I will stop supporting the Xbox platform all together and go back to PC for all my gaming needs. Developers will likely not show support for Kinect like they would if it was standard and we would never see its full potential realized. MS could also lose billions in investment with Kinect. This could be the start of a potentially devastating downward spiral for them.

Seriously, The differences will be very small and not worth boasting about. People will care a lot more about the games, system features and who has the best online experience.

TLoU could easily be done on the 360 and every bit as good because of superior gpu and better allocated ram. Most devs agree that the only differences between the two consoles are just the development trade offs. All the PS3 hardware praise is just hyperbole. Its really pathetic how people can be so naïve on the Internet.

I know that this may be hard for you're fanboy head to fathom but, the 360 has a much larger overall library of games than the PS3 due to being released a full year earlier. So people who own a 360 aren't exactly hurting for games and never have, contrary to the garbage that gets said around here.

The PS4 is slightly smaller than the XB1 and the XB1 is slightly smaller than the 360 slim. This whole idea that the console is so grotesquely oversized is just hyperbole.

What makes you think that XB1 exclusives will slow down when MS has invested a lot more money in games for the XB1 than Sony has for the PS4?

As far as the PS3 was concerned theoretical performance means squat. Most developers agreed that the differences between both consoles were miniscule and depended mostly on which trade offs between the two were preferred most. I've personally played just about every graphically hyped game there is on my PS3 and not one has been graphically consistent. GT5 was a great example of this.
