They have obviously taken off some servers to help cover some of the stress of initial launch users. Once they die down they will restore the servers. I don't see the issue with it as long as you can still buy and play your games. Promo codes can be be entered at a later date.
300k in UK alone? I wonder how many in the EU total? 1 million perhaps? That would double the ps4 sales compared to the XBONE.
Also the WiiU has only sold just over 150k consoles in the UK since launch.. Just to put things in perspective for the Nintendo elite.
The problem with this game is its on the WiiU and no disrepect to the game it might be one of the best games of the year (according to reviewers it is) however its on a console that's only sold 4 million. The PS4 and Xbone will have outsold it by mid 2014. Considering the WiiU has been out over a year now that's a massive failure for Nintendo.
I hope this is more nex-gen unlike the launch titles, Forza just got a graphics touch up and although its a great game in its own right it was basically Forza 4 HD (because this ones actually in HD 1080p) it is still missing the features like night racing that games like GT has.

It may be easier for one to develop for than the other because of there knowledge base not because the consoles harder to develop for. They might be used to language and tools that xbox uses compared to other devs as other unlike most devs they dont make many games. So please people stop taking this as biased in any one way or another. Why does every dev have to have an agenda?
Whats crazy is the frame rate does drop under 60fps for ps4 but never under 30fps. Most games last gen were 30fps and 30fps is playable. 60fps is a PC gamers target and not needed for consoles as its makes relatively no difference in fact a lot of TVs cannot do 60fps thanks to refresh rate. So you will be locked down anyway to your tvs refresh rate. So PS4 for me wins out because of the better resolution and the fact its still fully playable.

Only the most stubborn fans would believe the two games mentioned would only be possible on Xbox 1. Hes trying to say the only reason there on Xbox is because there not possible on PS4? Nothing to do with them paying out the nose for RYSE (bet there regretting that now) and and the fact Forza is 1st party. The sad thing is you don't here many PS fans saying they want RYSE. mainstream exclusives? Like Starcraft, WOW(near 8 million active subs still to this day!) and other great mainstream series like Sim City that you can only get on PC. Until recently you could only get battlefield on PC and its still better on PC. Lets not forget the modding community on PC.. That blows away anything consoles can do.. Agreed here PS4 isnt out here yet so it was going to be top right now. When the PS4 is launched and dust settles lets see whos still top. In US where MS dominated last gen Xbox couldnt fill out the top spots on amazon like PS4 did day of release so I would take that as a win for Sony but like I said other than that comparison we really have nothing solid to go on right now.
it's 2.3 million combined pre-orders.. When they have already said in another article 2 million of those are ps4s that would leave 0.3 million xboxes right? Just looking at the facts here or somebodys telling porkies..
The issue with WiiU isnt the games though never has been the issue is the amount of them it gets. Nintendo release about 2 first party exclusives a year. Outside that you don't see anything else much. The rest are third party and you don't even get all of them on WiiU. The dreamcast had great games but we all know what happened to the dreamcast.
Sorry but Xbox one like PS4 is new tech and will take a while for developers to get used to it. WiiU is still last gen tech the only new thing about it is the use of the second screen.
They ban any user whos not streaming game related content as its a game streaming service this isnt limited to PS4..
Because that takes time and costs money meaning less profit$.
PS4 had 250k in UK alone only 70k shy of MS total EU numbers. This isn't a shot at MS as its all about supply here. Its a shot at supply. The XBONE was definetly rushed. If it wasn't they would have a similar amount of consoles at release as Sony. The fact they have only half proves they once again rushed this console.
For that reason I won't be getting an Xbone until they have figured out and fixed all initial issues.
