Hmm wonder what the xbots will say now.. They constantly been saying 1080p not important only 60fps important.. Bet we get a 1080p more important from them now.. How about get both? 1080p and 60fps on PC.. Hell I'll even raise you a 4k :)
Lets be fair xbox exclusives arent the reason there on top as its COD and BF that are once again selling better on Xbox thanks to exclusive DLC. But no way near the differences of last generation.. Xbox sales are dropping faster than ps4 too as its becoming more steadily and easily available so that's part of the issue.. Still 74 million active users on STEAM right now though and they don't reset each "gen". MS and Sony need to find a way of stopping this reset..
Xbox One sales re dropping faster than PS4 sales in software and hardware as consoles are becoming easier to get hold of. We will get a better picture of who is really on top middle of 2014 when both are easy to get.
Its the complete Sony company yeah. Not just gaming division even though the article is slightly misleading but they put Sony in there as they do make games. It doesn't say SEJ it says Sony. So that includes there TV and entertainment divisions which have taken massive hits over the past few years especially there TV department thanks to warehouse floods and 3D not taking off etc..
Steam machines will fail and this is coming from a PC gamer. Theres too many SKU and the fact theres a new one coming out each year just confuses the average user who valve were trying to grab. They are the complete opposite of what was promised.
These things are gonna fail and its a shame but they were supposed to make PC gaming simple for the average gamer who likes to buy a console. Instead with so many SKUs they will just confuse people and its basically like a PC now.. There will be a bunch of initial sales but they will peter down and STEAM machines will die a horrible death. I hope fallout.. Elder scrolls needs to die now that series is getting stale.. Or at least take a long break and come back refreshed with new tech to make amazing AI and better worlds. Fallout could do with getting a buggy free game with decent graphics (outside of PC as mods fixed all issues)
This is about attach rate not about sales as its about games sold (not one game ALL). Also shooters selling better on Xbox? Really?? It only just outsold PS4 in the US (COD and battlefield sales) and this is a place where MS DOMINATED last generation selling nearly twice the amount of games. So that explains the numbers..

Basically yeah. Its a MOBA shooter crossover. Kill a load of AI bots earn a titan and fight with titans.. Once your mechs destroyed rinse and repeat. Your probably hardly ever gonna come out of your start area unless with a titans. Your just gonna sit pretty and kill AI bots.. Not what I want from a shooter really.. I can see pull for people who like to feel like they can actually kill something online. But the point of online is to challenge yourself against other people. MOBAs are free this...
So much for cloud making games better on xbox. Like Forza its gonna be used for AI profiles.. So it will be like fighting real people as the bots will be based on real people.. So bots are gonna get cheap and dirty like 12 year old kids who play this type of game... I can see it now 50 bots sniping on a hill..
@ballbags you say that but his deal was directly to do with the media side. He was VP of the media and entertainment group meaning he was in charge of the TV shows, Xbox music etc.. So when he says the company is heading in the wrong direction for him I just cannot see it being because there geared towards more media as that's what he was brought in for. I think this is to do with something else. Maybe its the whole xbox brand hes not happy with and thinks it's not got a chance as hes...

The people who want the superior, cheaper version with mod support want it. They are the PC community. Yeah thats right PC users get there games cheaper, they look better and they have mods..
You can play it looking this good in 1080p though and even push it up to 4k. The best thing is this an old game and this is another 2 reasons to choose PC over nex gen consoles. Backwards compatibility and mods. You won't get Fallout new vegas on Xbox One or PS4 (well maybe PS4 though PS Now but not looking anywhere near this good nor in 1080p.)
2 pads was my answer for ps3 and PC and will be for ps4. Though you can get a pack that attaches to the back already that more than doubles its charge.
I'm actually thinking there may be no next generation machine for either company. Not as we see them now.. Times are changing and soon we will just plug our phones into our tvs hook controls up and play through that. An all in one device we pick up and take to work with us when we finished playing. We can carry on our game on the bus etc..
Lets see how many people try to take them to court..
They have 3rd party exclusive DLC titanfall and halo thats it.. Wouldn't call it plenty..
Yeah Sony have a way of building there systems with just enough juice to run everything its how they get around the need for no power brick also..
Its mental as they are saying it can run 1080p on the ps4 when its not even optimized its running 30fps @1080p however on xbox optimized! although it could probably be optimized more.. That just shows PS4s real power there from the words of a dev.
