Played the BETA of TERA not worth the subscription to be honest. Might look great but theres lots of games that look great out there even GW2. If TERA was free it would go head to head with GW2 and GW2 would clinch it for me but the sub kills TERAs chances for me big time. Since launch the price of the game has already dropped to £5 for TERA with a free month and there's talk of lowering sub/free plan as so many people have already left.
WoW is popular thanks to it working on old machines you can pick up a PC for £70 and play WoW on it. That's the difference. As for GW2 i'm loving it since launch it takes the best bits of every MMO puts them in a box shakes it up and makes a really great MMO and best of all NO subscription.

Crysis 1 was badly made THATS why it melted pcs down. not because it looked great. Dont get me wrong it looked great i'm not saying it didn't but the power needed for the graphics? Lets just say after crysis better looking games came out that required a lot less hardware showing it was just terrible coding that made them "melt down" pc's.
Thankyou Sony for listening to your fans for once. I got asked to do a survey a while back and they asked on that whats the biggest thing I would like from Sony and this was it. I even put steam give 1GB for free. I'll be honest I only pay for PS+ for the cloud storage. Multiplayer can kill single player as they can purposely change the main game to suit the multiplayer aspect. This does probably mean however the Aliens won't be so OP any-more and be on more even terms as they have to be for multiplayer reasons. We won't know how much it's effected the game until release but lets hope not that much. It's like COD the first few games had great single player driven campaigns and now they are pure multiplayer and the single player is drab and do...
I would be worried if it was anywhere near PC standards as it would be a terrible PC port! Consoles hardware just cannot match modern day PC's even with the extra draw PC's have for OS etc..

The problem with WoW nowadays is its over diluted with high levelled players meaning new players no longer get to go in the high level dungeons and raids as higher gearscore players will always get picked over them. Some will say thats not a problem you can just go out get better gear and raise your gearscore. But how are you suppose to raise it if you cannot get in the dungeon groups and raids to get the armour needed?
Thats whats ruined WoW it's now a game for the elit...

Making games for windows 7 makes them windows 8 compatible. However I agree with Gabe MS wants Windows 8 to work like a smart phone OS rather than a computer OS and thats why its terrible for gamers other than casuals.
list is very slanted toward xbox they try not to list alternate consoles if they can. Also list Xbox games higher than others to try prove something. Half them games available on other consoles but only listed as Xbox only on that site.
Exactly my point on GW2 it takes the best of WoW and other games and makes them better. That infuriates the fanboys but makes it great for 99.9% of players to just pick up and play.
