Yeah, it's a shame because they could do so much more with the model they set in Pokepark 2. It'd be great to have a serious open-world Pokemon game where you control the Pokemon directly.
And I used to think that DS game cards were small!

I actually wasn't too interested in the launch titles at first, but after reading some reviews, I'm definitely interested in the new Lumines game as well as Rayman Origins and Uncharted Golden Abyss.
This is a pretty cool looking game, I'll definitely have to check it out.
Definitely some great games to look forward to in 2012. I'm really looking forward to SSX and Bioshock Infinite in particular.
The Jak and Daxter Collection would definitely be a great opportunity for a tease at a new game; let's hope it happens!

Not bad! I have to admit I'd have a tough time buying a Vita game for $50, but $40 is much more manageable, especially for a game like Uncharted. Nice to see RE: Revelations at that price as well.
Man, I agree with this list 100%.
I would love to see customizable characters, non-linear open worlds, and MMO play in particular. If the next Pokemon game included all of that, that would keep gamers busy for a long time.
Your position presumes that I was inferring another market crash or implosion would happen for the same exact reasons as the '80s crash, however, I was not.
I'm well aware of what caused that market implosion, but the author here does not once refer to those reasons for a future implosion; the reason I brought it up was just to show that it happened. If the industry tanked again, it would be for entirely different reasons (as discussed in the actual article).

I'm actually really surprised we haven't gotten a new Advance Wars game since Days of Ruin; it looks like the series might have gone the way of Fire Emblem in North America, meaning that Nintendo doesn't think it's profitable over here...
But I'm hopeful we might see the Fire Emblem 3DS game come over here. Fingers crossed!
It's too bad that this had to happen, but I hear MS's customer service has been a little difficult to deal with for some people (including some of my friends), so it makes working through this even more difficult. But these are good steps to help people who have been affected; hopefully this will all be resolved soon.

Wow, that's a fantastic deal.
Even thought I got my 160GB PS3 with two free games for $200 last fall, the extra $50 would be worth it here for the extra 160GB of hard drive space.
