Me too! It could be the best game of its kind since Zelda II.
Not at all; I'm looking forward to playing the full game when it comes out.
Looking forward to The Unfinished Swan!
I never got into the Borderlands games personally, but they seem to be really fun from what I've been hearing. Good to see that it got a great score!
No Sin and Punishment: Star Successor? Blasphemy!
Not a bad list otherwise, though. Definitely tough to outdo Metroid Prime 3.
Definitely a bummer for PC gamers but Capcom seems to have been doing this with a lot of their games lately where the PC releases come months after the console release.
The iPad/iPhone seems like a natural fit for hidden object games so it's too bad this one didn't work out.
As of this moment, it looks like the Xbox 360 version is sold out in the US but the PS3 version is still available, yeah.
Hard to believe it's been some 7 years since the last Dead or Alive game came out. It'll be nice to finally have a new one at least.
You got the platinum? o_o
Someone get this man a beer; that's quite the achievement!
Great feature!
I'm personally looking forward to more than a few of those myself, particularly Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
Sounds interesting! Hopefully it'll come to PSN sometime too.
I had never heard of the Karaoke minigame until now, haha. Very cool.
I was thinking the same thing... :/
That said, I do like the games it comes with though.
Ultimately, I do think there's such a thing as over-reliance on lists if that's all a site is doing, but for the most part I think a balance can be met with them as long as mix them in with other editorials and such.
That said, there are a lot of lists out there, so we try to vary the subject and look an interesting angle that might not have been covered before so we don't retread too much of the same ground as other sites.
I was about to question why they were putting out a different special edition for each console, but I had forgotten that RE 1, 2, and 3 aren't available for Xbox in any capacity (I think), so it makes sense that they would try to pull in the movies to help cover that (plus making Code Veronica X exclusive to the 360 special edition).
It's part of the Journey Collector's Edition, so if you haven't played Journey either, I highly recommend picking that one up!
Or better yet, becomes free for PS Plus members!
Agreed, there have been some really enjoyable indie titles this year so far. I would almost say much more so than boxed retail titles.
Nice job! I love reading your interviews with these smaller developers because the big sites rarely ever cover them.
