In your example, you state that people are limited by their console choice when choosing between games.

However, the game drives console sales in it's own right. If I were to look at the features of both Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport, I would be able to decide which had a feature set I preferred, and plan my console choice based on that information.

Another factor is fanbase. If I was a huge fan of Forza on XBox, but not thrilled with Gran Turismo, logic dic...

some ingenius developer makes key functions in a RTS game or some other new use for the keypad.
But for text I'm using the Logitech.

I use a Logitech Wireless keyboard that works just fine. I even have a useless mouse that came with it.

It's not like it uses massive amounts of space for game saves or VC games.

Get a 2GB SD Card. I have a feeling it will last the life of the console. And they're like $30 or so at some stores, (if they don't say Wii on them)...

Certainly a great deal of them don't interest me that much, but that's because of the story or prospective gameplay. Even so, saying a game is garbage before you've played it is VERY fanboy.

deepbrown, you're a voice of reason, +1 bubble rating from me.

Now all the first gen PS3 games are to be left by the wayside on the tactile feedback front? What about a unified friend list? Once Home is out, what happens to all the games made before home? Patches? That's a lot of patching.

Oh well, at least this is a step in the right direction for Sony.

Couldn't imagine playing GoWIII without rumble. Hopefully they'll get it in time for Warhawk. (Fingers crossed)

Warhawk and GoWIII pique my interest. Maybe they'll be out when I finally get a PS3. Unfortunately, most of the other games on there aren't really thrilling me.

Maybe LBP will be good, but it's looking like it could go either way for me, either really great or really lame.

Sony's strongarm (but effective) tactics are forcing me to get a PS3 to get access to Disney HD. But I can wait a year or so, unless Warhawk is completely awesome...

that unfortunately appears to be true in this case. His arguments are invalid in every other instance. The PS3 CELL is not noticably better than the PowerPC, certainly not to a point where you can't make a game run on it, the graphics processor is noticably better on the 360, as well as the audio processors. the memory architecture is also superior on the 360. The space limitation is balderdash, since any game large enough can easily be broken into multiple discs and/or DLC.

I own every console released in the United States, from the Odyssee, to the XBox 360, with the exception of the PS3. I'm borrowing a friends PS3 until I get tired of resistance, butI have no urge to buy one because of the prohibitive cost and lack of games for the console.

The fact that I've had my buddy's PS3 for over a month and a half shows me that he's not all that thrilled with the console either.

Only sex toys vibrate? How come Sony settled with Immersion then and are planning on re-releasing a new controller with rumble? (not that any of the first gen PS3 games will support it, much like Home) it's a logistics mess Sony has created.

And a 9GB limit is non-existant. If the games actually need more space, there's a little technique that the developers can use made popular by final Fantasy VII, called save and swap.

The data limit is a myth, perpetuated by...

I think Crysis would be much more suited to the 360, considering the game is already designed around Direct X.

That's probably a big factor in why games have a slight graphic edge (to date) on the 360.

Motorstorm doesn't have the best graphics, but the control is pretty much spot on albie. The terrain physics are neat too.

I'm not a Sony fan either, as I'm sure a few of these people can tell you, but the truth is that all the games I've played on PS3 have had decent to excellent control.

I've paid more on ebay for an NES game as well, but the difference is I'm getting a hard copy of that game, often with manual, box or more and certainly something of value that I can trade later if need be.

However, $6 for just the data seems somewhat high. Not excessively high, mind you. I can't say the prices aren't "fair", just that they're a bit higher than I would like to pay. Especially without the box and manual and disc.

I have no credibility? From the person who is down to two bubbles?

I have credibility, I just have a differing opinion.

In my opinion, the Killzone trailer I saw looked great, but was nothing spectacular. Sorry. In case you couldn't tell by the avatar, I do tend to have a slight bias for Microsoft, although it's not as much as many would think.

At least Microsoft hasn't tried to install malware on my computer like Sony has.
