Please just announce the PS3 slim so people will stop buying up the remainder of the original PS3 supply, seeing as this is the reason you're not actually announcing it yet and in fact waiting for the most opportune time even though we all know it's coming. DLC can definitely prolong the life of a game and expand on the experience, but you also see the evilness of it all the time. Games dropping and then a week later some lame sh*t comes out that should have been in the actual game.
But you also see games lasting longer than they would have without it. Warhawk for example, didn't have that many levels but through time they added levels/weapons/new game modes that all fall into additional content - not just extra content that costs...
Technically though it's not "LBP Music" but who wouldn't immediately think that? Kinda funny though cause that is the first thing to come to mind. "Ooooh, that LBP song!"
M$, come up with something original. lol
Unless you wanted a slim with a huge block in the back with the power source, would kind of make the idea of a "slim" a moot point. But congrats on pointing that out. ;-)
PS3 Slim will NOT be more expensive than the original PS3 model.
@above ^ - true, at the same time that's why they haven't officially announced the slim yet and are in the process of cutting down the restocking of current models, a price cut will come with the release of the Slim - I wouldn't be surprised if maybe the original PS3 was around 50 dollars cheaper in hopes of moving remaining stock at a quicker pace - but at the same time a price drop is going to include both models....
So they can what? Overheat faster?

I always hate seeing references like this, but I do think Sony is prepping themselves for some big moves. We all know the Slim is coming, big games coming out, price drop - hell GT5 is gonna drop and be HUGE. Sh*t is gonna get real towards the end of this year.
They can't - more like shouldn't - confirm it yet. If they were to go on the record and say that it is in fact in production and with it will come a price drop then people would hold off buying a PS3 until then.
Even though we all know it's going to happen given the history of the past consoles/portable console to boot.
I dont see id dropping something that is drastically inferior on the PS3, but that doesn't stop people from jumping on every little thing. No release date even for the game and people are acting like it's coming out tomorrow and "teh ps3 is d00med"
Many complain about the different aspects of these games but at the same time so many people have different ideas of what video games should offer.
I've always welcomed the lengthy cut-scenes as it seems to just immerse you even more so into the story, at least for me and the people I know that enjoy the games. Usually I do not seem to feel such a connection to characters in games, which might sound weird, but for some reason I get so into the story/characters/action.
While I'm not going to even bother reading the article after seeing that opener, I am going to admit that I probably agree with the main point.
Can't believe this whole PS3/360 thing gets people to write in such a manner. These people would not survive as a real journalist/writer. Then again, I guess that's why they do Video Game stuff online.
