I might agree with you about the combat looking off, as the game is still set for a 2016 release
But I dont think you have come across a lot of late PS3 games cause this as much better aliasing, textures and smoother polygons and the concept is definitely more innovative than most games out now
Sony does not market 1080p, they market graphics quality, you are talking about res here, am pretty sure Sony would like the PS4 to run even higher than 1080p if they could make an afforable console that way
But again this is not Sony, its Insomniac not willing to run their games at 60fps, remember even though Sunset Overdrive was 900p, it still ran at 30fps

Well the content is not what this is about, Its about Sony using their remasters to rely on their line up for games, but they have really only released three remasters, one last year and two this year. That is hardly relying if you consider third parties and exclusives in their lineup, infact their exclusives this year far outweigh the two remasters they have.
