Can you or anyone here give one single example, I mean just one example where sega, sony, Nintendo or Microsoft decided to wage a 'console war' for fanboys rather than actually trying getting an advantage to sell their console??
And yes there is a difference between gaming fans who enjoy a specific console and fans who detest other consoles in favour of one, we dont call the former fanboys

Over here in Ireland, PSN is great for me. I dont have much to really complain about but there could be a lot of improvements especially with downtime and maintenance that seems to make little difference
I really hope Sony listen, that website has a lot of great ideas that could improve PSN and PS4 a lot
But if you notice, the website mostly includes wanted PS4 features, rather than trying to make PSN network faster download speed, less maintenance and less downtime and a better store. That can confuse the message a bit and not really help

Deals dont only matter on who throws money, there is also company relationship(Warner Bros for Sony or Bethesda for MS) and market leader advantage. You can get constant money and royalties by sticking with the best selling console/ market leader, you get most of that userbase and the userbase on the other console so there is no loss there

The reason Activision moved COD to was because of the success of Destiny, the userbase was the PS4 was bigger and helped move loads of software for them, they are clearly hoping COD bop3 will do the same for them by moving to Sony with the franchise. This is very obvious
MS have money, why would they want to lose out on COD that will help them move console?? Activision clearly knew the better deal...

I would actually just prefer to play the full hitman game as I dont like episodic games. So IO and square enix have given me the option to wait for the physical full release which I will but I wont call it an unfinished product because it encompasses episodic release.

Episodic release is nothing new and they are finished games. Life is Strange, Broken age are games were you pay for each episode or pay the full price to get all episodes as they release
So you can either pay for each mission episode here as they come out or wait for the full physical release

We all know the PS4 has no games if it is not big budget AAA holiday release. This is literally the only time people put on their consoles to play games, because our consoles are only functional during the Holiday period and wont also play low budget games too
Sony's paid service is to make PS games avaliable on other platforms like TVs, android tablets and morwe. Basically to broaden the users of PS games like more casual gamers without them even having a PS console at home, the PS4 is just part of that service
You dont seem to know what you are talking about if you think the entire model of PS Now is based on only the PS4
Are we still in the PS3 generation or what? Wasnt BC made avaliable on the PS3 with very little use, achievements and trophies still dont come close to the ability to playing the classic game you love on your new console but still it wasnt taking advantage of by the PS3 users

But Jim Ryan for Sony also said the same thing and he made a very good point with how little BC on the PS3 was used until the new model was brought out without BC and sold well

Its definitely a non issue for Sony considering what they went through with the BC PS3 as a failure and the PS4 with no BC surging with sales. I dont even think it is a feature that they will bother about for the coming years
It is a great option though, and they could probably do it from a digital standpoint, but after so many remasters (selling really well) and new games have released, what's the point?!
