I started the single player for gears 2, same old plot line, polished graphics (compared to gears 1) and we got to a courtyard where the NPC says get ready for a big attack, we take our positions(mind you I have already played Resistance and it's genre defining coop campaign) and I anticipate a heavy attack of locusts ONLY TO SEE 8-10 LUMBERING IDIOTS CHARGE INTO THE ROOM, HARDLY FIRE A SHOT AND GET KILLED IN 2 SECONDS FLAT BY US.

at least someone else here knows what he's talking about, and it pretty much sums up the 360, anytime it achieves better framerates is because it's rendering alot less on screen. Of course this has been the story all along, low res crap textures masquerade with cheap anti aliasing effects, while the PS3 pushes TRUE hi-definition textures.
AND ALSO LOOK AT THE WOMANS HAIR IN THE LAST PIC, MUCH MORE DETAIL AND LIGHTING ON THE PS3 VERSION.
