Yeah, it's nuts.
You should just be playing Quake Champions. DOOM Eternal won't have that kind of multiplayer.
Octopath won RPG of the year and was nominated for soundtrack of the year here: https://www.gamecrate.com/t...
Quite. Indeed.
This is...a strange stance to take.
"PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds now marketed as 'console exclusive' on Xbox One" https://www.windowscentral....
PUBG will remain on PC but is now available on Xbox One as well. It is not planned for any other consoles, because of Microsoft's investment.
This reviewer gave Persona 5 a 10/10. https://www.gamecrate.com/r...
If you can pay money for a game and play it right now, the game is "out" in every way that really matters. For a game that's consistently one of the most played titles in the entire world, whether it's "finished" or not isn't a very important discussion.
@meka2611 I'm talking specifically about the infiltrating the other side by replacing opposing warchiefs with yours prior to the assault. That's something you can do on offense, but NOT in online siege battles and NOT when you're defending against an invading force.
In Shadow Wars mode you'll be facing multiple captains with levels in the 50s and eventually even 60s, and they all have bodyguards as well. Understanding the systems at play can be very helpful....
It gets a lot more challenging than that as the game progresses, especially in Shadow Wars mode. When you're defending, replacing warchiefs isn't an option.
It did come out, yes, and plenty of sites wrote about the game accurately pre and post launch. It doesn't seem to matter to some people that this perception that "the real ending is locked behind a crazy grind!" is actually totally incorrect. They're so eager to trash microtransactions that they're just repeating the same talking points without having actually experienced the game.
Yeah, there is a lot in this review that is just incorrect. Reads like it was based more on the pre-launch perception of the game than on anything that's actually IN the game.
The end game is fun because it's fun, if you like the game. The "post-credits" kind of ending that comes after Shadow Wars is just a bonus.
@stupidusername Journalists colluding with developers and publishers to withhold information about products for sale (which is what games are) is not what we should expect. I understand wanting to avoid spoilers, but that's on the reader/consumer.
So you think having "integrity" in this case would involve purposely not informing the public about an important aspect of a game? That doesn't sound like what people normally want and expect from journalists.
Well I have good news for him then.
@annoyedgamer Games aren't sacred though. Neither is Tolkien. It's just art. The studio has a license for use the IP, and they're making great games with it, right? Don't we want great games?
LOL!
